SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT

6 Beds in the house: 5 Queen Size, 1 Bunk 2 singles.

One bedroom, one bathroom downstairs.

Four bedrooms two bathrooms upstairs.

Every bedroom has air con and TV.

Very spacious lounge room upstairs, large screen Smart TV and internet connected Nexus Player Netflix with thousands of free movies and shows, You Tube and a lot of other apps, air conditioning.

The ground level has a very large living/play area with floor to ceiling windows and easy access to the salt water pool. Pool table, arcade game machine Pac Pac and TV.

Formal dining area fitted with a table seating ten, and the breakfast area adjacent has a table seating four.

The kitchen is modern with stone counters and professional series kitchen appliances. Includes electric cooktop dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster and all the cookware necessary to make a gourmet meal.

OUTDOOR

BBQ and outdoor dining/entertainment area with seating for 10 but enough space for many more.

Have a BBQ & enjoy alfresco dining, relax or entertain family and friends on the covered deck while watching the kids play in the pool.

Please, don't forget to clean the BBQ

Large size salt water pool in the front yard fully fenced adjacent to the BBQ area.

The backyard gives access to more than 50m of waterfront, boasting a riverside view and allowing you to enjoy the use of kayaks which are available to all our guests.

An abundance of waterfront activities available, you can enjoying a spot of fishing, drop a crab pot into the canal and catch some crabs for dinner, take the kayaks for a paddle from the convenience of your backyard.

Please note, the kayaks and the access to the water edge are to be shared with the holiday house next door.

The garage is locked and used for storage.

There are two car spaces in front of the garage and lots off-street parking.

The neighbourhood:

Close by, just a few hundred meters away you will find Mermaid Beach.

As its name suggests, Mermaid Beach is a tranquil spot to enjoy all the Gold Coast has to offer. Much quieter that its northern neighbours, Mermaid Beach is set away from the many high rises that dominate the skylines of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.

The beach has a small swell, making for ideal swimming conditions. However, board riders can generally find some action off the banks.

Get up early to catch the fantastic sunrise

Go for a stroll along Hedges Avenue, the most expensive strip of real-estate on the sand, with a wide pedestrian path that runs along the line of mansions, it's the place to be seen, whether you're walking, running, cycling or skating.

If you prefer walking on the beach you are in the right spot… it’s a very long stretch of a beach… all 70km of it… enjoy the morning walk… have a swim… Have an alfresco breakfast at one of the so many cafes in the area… sip on a coffee… look around you feel the energy reflected by all the passers-by… and then… get up, gather your family and friends and go exploring The Gold Coast.

Whatever your desire, be it a family holiday, romantic getaway, special event, or selfish indulgence, whether you visit from overseas, interstate, or just for the day, the Gold Coast spoils you in every way with its warmth, charm and passion for relaxation and fun.

Interaction with Guests:

The guests will have the option to self check-in or choose to be greeted by the manager/owner at the time of arrival.

We will ensure that all keys, codes and passwords will be available at the arrival time and the guests will have full access to the property and all other facilities.

The manager/owner will be contactable by phone, email or sms throughout the entire stay.

Shopping:

For some of your food supplies and other necessities, activities or attractions,we will supply a more detailed guide o your arrival.

Getting Around:

Private transport.

Car hire.

Taxis and Uber available at all times.

There is a bus stop 250m where you can catch a bus to most destinations.

There is a Tram station about 1.5 Km away connecting South Broadbeach with Parkwood and stopping in all central locations along The Coast.

If you wish to visit Brisbane, Robina train station 10-15 minutes drive.

BOOKING

Payment of the booking constitutes the clients acceptance of the House Rules and Terms and Conditions.

Your Responsibilities – House Rules

The person whose name is on the booking to ensure that all guests and visitors are aware of the terms and conditions and house rules.

PARTIES & FUNCTIONS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

House rules must be complied with along with any instructions from Management.

Number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing/email.

All Visitors must comply with the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

Responsible behavior is expected by all guests and visitors to the property.

Please observe the residential area "quiet time" from 10pm to 8 am.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Keys and remotes are your responsibility during your stay.

Pets are not allowed under any circumstances.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house at any time.

Parking of cars must be in accordance with Council regulations.

Caution must be taken on outdoor tiles as all tiles may be slippery when wet.

Departure:

The person whose name is on the booking must ensure the property is left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Please follow the departure instructions that are left at the property entrance.

Check-out is 10 am or earlier.

The check-in check-out times can only be altered subject to acceptance and availability.

The person whose name is on the booking must be staying at the property. This person is responsible for the booking with us and ensuring all guests and visitors are aware of the terms and conditions and house rules.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

We only accept guests who agree to respect them and observe the residential area "quiet time" from 10pm to 8 am. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants' responsibility during their stay.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

The property to be always locked and secured when all guests are out.

Parties & Functions are strictly prohibited.

Non-adherence to this policy may result in termination of rental and loss of monies paid including your Security Bond and we reserve the right to take further legal action

We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen breakdowns of appliances etc. Markeri Holiday Homes are maintained to the highest standard however at times unforeseen issues can occur. All repairs will be carried out or replacements purchased at the earliest convenience.

Every action will be taken by our staff to minimize inconvenience caused; however there is no obligation from Markeri I or Markeri II Holiday Homes to issue any partial refunds or discounts if the issue was unavoidable.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the Owner/Management in writing.

The Owner/Management reserves the right to terminate the rental at any time if any of the above conditions are not adhered to.
