Description

This newly refurbished two bedroom, two bathroom with a tub apartment is a one minute walk to surf patrolled beach and the park. The park has a childrens' playground and adult volley ball/exercise facility. The Mermaid Surf Club is across the road. The main bedroom, kitchen/lounge area and large North facing balcony offer guests great ocean view and the opportunity to soak up the warm winter sun.

Mermaid Beach is a popular surf beach and the wonderful Hedges Café is situated across the road. Nearby is the French Café and Bam Bam not to mention the wonderful restaurants and cafes in nearby Broad Beach, Nobby's Beach and Burleigh Beach.

This Mermaid Gem is situated between the iconic Gold Coast Surfers Paradise and Burleigh Beach and is 22-36 minutes drive to the Gold Coast Airport and approximately an hour from Brisbane Domestic and International airport.. A short walk north will take you to Broadbeach which hosts the Jazz and Blues Festivals as well as many other events eg Christmas in the Park, Markets etc. Close by is the prestigious Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, The Star Casino Jupiters and the Convention Centre. Many popular cafes and restaurants are situated within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. Within walking distance, guests can access public transport including the G Link Light Rail to visit attractions such as Tambourine Mountain, Theme Parks, Currumbin Bird Life Park, Sea world and a host of other tourist attractions.

The apartment can comfortably host a family with three children. There is a single pull out bed as well as a queen and two singles. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towel all available to guest. Beach towel are made available on request. Please note the apartment is limited to 5 guests at any one time. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, microwave and a dishwasher. A washing machine and dryer is situated in the large second bathroom. A starter kit of milk, toilet paper soap, dish washing and dishwasher powder is provided.

A lift and intercom system allows for easy access to the apartment either from the basement parking or ground level entrance. The apartment block has a communal pool area on ground level together with a barbeque and shade sail. The roof top with its spectacular views has an entertaining area with a television, table and chairs. Guests have access to one secure park in the basement. The entrance to the secure park is 1.8 m . Guests are encouraged to store their personal beach equipment eg boogie boards in the lockable garage cupboard.

Please note that this is a quiet, predominately residential block and guests need to abide by all Body Corporate rules especially when using the common areas. Residents and guests are not permitted to park in the open bay parking overnight - this bay is used for emergencies, trade persons, car washing and very short term day visitors. Free street parking or the car park at the beach can be used if there is a second car. A reminder that the apartment may not be used as a "party or events venue".

House rules:

Please adhere to all Body Corporate By Laws - eg no parking overnight in the visitors car park and use only the allocated basement car park. A copy of the relevant By Laws can be found in the apartment and you are encouraged to familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations eg pool times

Reminder that the number of guests may not exceed the number of beds provided - that being 5. If this is not adhered to the Host reserves the right to inspect the premises every day and/or ask the guests to leave.

Smoking is not permitted and all damage, breakages, theft/loss is the guest's responsibility during their stay.

Please ensure the apartment is secure when you leave to go anywhere and the windows are closed to avoid the small possibility of rain and wind damage.

The apartment block is predominately residential and guests are expected to respect the peace and quiet which the homeowners enjoy.

Most important it is hoped that guests have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Your host will hand over keys and will be available to assist with queries if required.
