Living areas:

With two lounge rooms, media room and bar with sitting area there is something for everyone. For the kids big and little the dedicated media room is the best seat in the house. This room boasts wide flat screen TV with built in surround sound, heaps of DVDs, comfy couches, bean bags, pull out sofa bed, full bathroom with shower and access to the small outdoor seating area. Close the blinds, kick back and let the cinema style viewing experience begin. For the adults, the bar and adjoining sitting area is the best seat in the house. Relax back on the high quality couches and take in the uninterrupted lake views while sipping on a cocktail from the bar. The bar features fridge, sink, stools and even has all the glasses you’ll need, from Pina colada to martini. With this set up the only problem you will have is picking a cocktail The lower level lounge room is part of the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining and has a huge suede corner lounge suite, built in surround sound and digital TV. This lounge room also has a full Foxtel package. The upper level sitting area is the perfect refuge space. Grab a book from the shelf, lounge on the chaise chairs and enjoy your coffee over a good read. This home also has a large laundry room with Miele washer and dryer.

Kitchen:

The light oak soft close cupboards and draws coupled with the thick stone benchtops ads the wow factor to this massive open plan kitchen. This kitchen features an enormous 6 burner Miele oven and cook top, stainless steel fridge, funky DeLonghi kettle and 4 slice toaster. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee with the Dolce Gusto pod machine. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to create a family feast. Once dinner is ready move over to the 8 seater dining table and enjoy your meal.

Bedrooms:

All four impressively sized bedrooms are on the upper level of this home. The open plan master suite is sure to excite with King size bed and huge walk in wardrobe. The master ensuite is complete with dual vanity and large shower. This room is the perfect parents retreat, run a bath, turn on the bubbles and relax. The two queen bedrooms have built in wardrobes and share a balcony with vast lake views. Bedroom 4 is great for the kids with a triple bunk single on top, double on bottom and separate single bed. The main bathroom is just as impressively sized as the bedrooms. It features a shower, standalone bath and separate toilet. You will sleep soundly through those summer nights with ducted air-conditioning throughout this home.

The elevated alfresco entertaining area next to the huge pool is an outstanding feature of this home. With the wide deck, bar fridge, sun lounges and swim up bar you won’t even need the house Watch the sun set and take in the lake breeze as the kids splash in the pool, all from your undercover seating area. Bring the boat or Jet Ski and drop it in at the boat ramp 3mins down the road. There is also a private jetty perfect for fishing or to moor the watercraft. Back up at the house, fire up the BBQ and soak up the leafy surroundings at the 8 seater hardwood outdoor setting.

The luxury LAKE VIEW RETREAT home is located a short distance from the Restaurants and Wineries of Mt Tamborine - you will be spoilt for choice.

5 minutes from local shops, COLES Supermarket and the bottle shop.

Also located a short 10 minute drive from the Dreamworld, White Water World, Movie World and Wet ‘n Wild Theme Parks plus The Outback Spectacular Show.

Centrally located approximately 45 minutes’ drive to either the Gold Coast Airport or the Brisbane Airport or 15 minutes’ drive to the Train Station.

All our homes are professionally cleaned, with linen supplied through a professional service provider whom supply to other major hotel/resort chains.

Your home will be presented already made up prior to your arrival featuring all towelling neatly displayed and a guest starter pack consisting of soaps, shampoos, tissue paper, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, dish washing liquid and clothes washer liquid supplied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful home but many issues with presentation Yes this house is certainly beautiful it is large spacious and has the most amazing views unfortunately our stay was affected by a there were number of things that could have been improved upon for example on arrival we were given a code that didn’t work lucky for us the office was still open once we got to the house we found that we had no electricity again call to the real estate to find that they in fact were closed another call to the after hours number And about an hour later someone showed up to have a look at the electricity between this person and my husband they were able to get the electricity to work however this was not the case overnight and again we lost electricity another call to the real estate and a few hours later an electricianwas able to come to the property there were numerous other faults in the house for example there was no pod machine for coffee as advertised we went and bought beans to use the inbuilt coffee machine which leaked everywhere and was rather useless we also found there were lights out all over the house I see this has been reported prior to our stay but had not been fixed on top of this the pool light was out there no lights in the gazebo so using the pool area at night was not an option there was also no bar fridge as advertised. Overall the presentation of the house we found to be average that is to say that while there are multiple signs everywhere telling you what to do what not to do we were rather surprise that there had been no cleaning of the verandas upstairs and below prior to arrival.There was also a lot of debris in the pool it’s certainly had not been cleaned for some time while I understand maintaining a house to a very high level can be difficult the price that we paid for this house was absolute premium therefore none of these defects should have occurredThere were a number of everyday items that were not in the house things like dishwashing liquid dishwashing brush there was one cloth to wipe the bench with it was good to have laundry powder provided and dishwashing powder provided there are no towels for the pool and there is a desperate need for a new frying pan as the one supplied is completely usable again premium price I really did expect a little more FFor all the issues in particular the electrical issue there was no discussion regarding a refund of a night stay although we were allowed check out at no extra cost to hours later

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly Managed Property but Excellent views This property is in a lovely location. We were extremely disappointed with our overall experience, simply put down to extremely bad management by the holiday company running this place. The pool hadn’t been cleaned for some time and was very dirty, Spa heater and pump didn’t work. The pool cleaning company arrived on the second day to clean the pool but we were advised we couldn’t use it for a few days until the pool became clear and were told once we reported the electrical issues that it would be at least 3 days before an electrical contractor could come out. TV system didn’t work in the main lounge area - toilet seats broken, multiple light globes were out on arrival and the window locks are in bad need of maintenance. The upstairs spa leaks a bit of water so only used the once. BBQ was dirty and very small. The positives were the views of the lake. Lots of glass in the main living area really complimented the views.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Ever This holiday home made us feel like we were really at home, loved the layout, view was spectacular and it is recommended. Very relaxing neighbourhood. The balcony area was our favourite spot. I would gladly hire this holiday home again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely property .. bad communicators We had a lovely time at this property. The pool and pontoon were well used. Be prepared for the long stair climb to the pool and pontoon. The house was well equipped and clean. Love the fact that the linnen and cleaning were incleded in the price. The one negative and reason for only four stars is the communcations and signage from GCHH. They were overly agressive and negative. For example the house is advertised as fully air-conditioned (and it is) but there are signs warning you not to use the air conditioning too much or it will fail. There are numurous warning signs over the house about varies rules which we found offensive and overly agressive and repetitive. As were the email communcations leading up to our stay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent property with great view and relax feel We stayed at Lake view retreat over the Christmas day period. What a great house and property. Very relaxed feel inside the house with great appointments, huge easy clean kitchen. The property tiers down to the lake and the pool area is fantastic. Will definitely stay there again
