The Treehouse Cottage is nestled among rainforest trees and affords an expansive outlook. It is very romantic with a fireplace and four poster bed. It also has a second bedroom to suit a family or two couples travelling together. It has a balcony, bird feeding platform, bbq and fully equipped kitchen.
It is part of Worendo Cottages which has 3 cottages on a 90 acre property.
Set in the Lost World Valley and overlooking the World Heritage Rainforest Mountains of Lamington National Park, Worendo Cottages offer simplistic beauty at is best.

Tommerups Farm Larder is open to the public to buy small goods, meat, eggs, cheese, honey and other high quality local products.
Day 1. Your welcome to the farm and briefing on activities. Time to begin exploring with a walk to the hilltop or out to Widgee Valley, fly a kite, play a game of Badminton and then return to your cottage to enjoy your sunset platter (Optional extra) of local cheese, small goods, wine and even sparkling verjuice (non alcoholic) for the kids... Followed by Dinner and stories around the fireplace.
Day 2. 7am: Dairy Farm Tour. A personal tour of a working dairy farm to see where our milk comes from. View the milking process, talk to the farmer, milk a cow and pat baby calves.
9am: Breakfast on the deck of your cottage...
10am: Time for a spot of fishing in the Worendo Lake (we supply equipment)
12pm: Off to the old stone Hut Picnic area for a picnic by the creek. A fantastic opportunity to explore over the footbridge, find precious rocks, fish for Bass and Cod, Swim, play cricket or soccer or just relax and just enjoy the space and freedom of this magical place!
2:30pm: Take the farm circuit walk to explore the valley - ending up at Lost World Crossing.
4pm: Make sure you are back in time for Animal Feeding with our cute sheep - always a big highlight!
6pm: Dinner from our menus, cooked in our fully equipped kitchen or BBQ
7pm: Your Outdoor Campfire under the Milky Way and Stars. Our Mountains provide perfect conditions for star gazing - blocking out external light from the cities.
Day 3. 9:45am: Horse Riding - Suitable for all ages and abilities
11:30am: Time to walk to the Lost World rainforest Rockpool - pack a picnic lunch. Hike is 25 - 35 minutes each way. Alternately take the scenic drive to Christmas Creek along rainforest shrouded roads (25 minutes). Explore the National park or stop in at the Christmas Creek Cafe for a bite or a coffee.
2pm: Aussie Wildlife Encounter! Get up close and personal with crocs, snakes, koalas and a range of amazing Australian wildlife in an exclusive private experience like no other!
4pm: Wild Bird Feeding: Parrots, Rosellas and Lorikeets will fly down and eat right from your hand. This is a free activity.
Day 4. 7am: Early morning fishing in Worendo Lake
9am: After Breakfast time for one last walk to the Hilltop to breathe in the freshest air in Queensland
11am: Checkout and head to Tamborine Mountain for more fun on your way home! Don't forget to Visit the Tommerup's Farm Larder on your way past!
Day 1. - Welcome to Worendo - relax on the deck of your cottage and soak up the world heritage view while enjoying a Sunset Platter of local gourmet cheeses and small goods before moving inside to snuggle up by the fireplace..
Day 2. - Indulge in the Worendo Breakfast including our famous home baked bacon and egg quiche!
Head off with a hamper to explore the creek and settle beside our Stone Hut for a peaceful picnic
Be sure to be back for you private massage on the deck to set the relaxation mode to ultimate...
?If you can leave the amazing view we recommend you do the Wild Bird Feeding at 4pm with parrots eating from your hand or take a stroll along the hilltop to Widgee Valley at sunset..
If its summer - set a blanket on the lawn and gaze up at the Milky Way at night - this is an exceptional area for star watching.. In Winter use the camp fire setting or just stay indoors by the fireplace and candle light...
Day 3. - Use our map of local treasures to take a drive exploring the sights of the Lost World before venturing a little further to the Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard for your Private Cellar Door Experience complete with a tasting platter of gourmet local goods. This can be extended to a second cellar door at Karoomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm just down the road. Stop in the charming country town of Boonah for lunch and take the country lanes past lakes and farmlands or stop in for a beer at the Rathdowney Pub on your way home.
