Rated 4 out of 5 by from Relaxing retreat - But mind the heat Both properties are great for entertaining in particular the waterfront Mansion. However the mansion is not air-conditioned upstairs and the heat at times was unbearable. The fans did not cut is and it seem as though the hot air just wouldn't escape even with the balcony doors open. It was a weekend of reaching over 34degress so perhaps this wouldn't be as bad normally. The "cinema" is purely a rumpus and not what we expected. The location is great with Cafes and shops two minutes walk away. Access to the jetties is not possible at low tide. The older of the two houses was lovely and cool. It was a little tired and needed a few minor repairs. The pools are only cleaned fortnightly. There is a net scoop but no access to a creepy crawly. I would recommend following up the pool cleanliness before arriving as we arrived to very dirty pools. Luckily they were due to be cleaned the next day however anyone staying between the "fortnightly clean" might be disappointed. Overall the properties are a great idea for large groups wishing to stay together but still have their own space. We had a lovely time and would consider booking again.
