Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could be excellent however....... Firstly, great location, quiet and restful with good views out across the water. The unit was well appointed and contained all we needed to be truly comfortable, kitchenware, appliances, furnishings, really comfortable beds, air conditioning and ceilings fans all added to a really enjoyable stay. The fact that a buggy was included was a huge source of joy for us, particularly me, as I have an injured foot, walking is very difficult. The price was excellent too. We understand that Cyclone Debbie did major damage and considered that whilst writing this review. We did have a shredder in operation, below us, shredding waste from construction but only in working hours. The spa was not working nor the aircon in second bedroom. There was no broom and a hanging basket or shelf in the shower would have been handy. I made a list of things that could be improved and or fixed when management liaise with owners to consider those issues. In the interest of safety, I will mention the fact that, being split level, there are about 18 stairs to the lower levels and there is no avoiding them as that is where the toilets are. Due to the design of the unit (no fault of the owners at all), there is a section at the top of the staircase where there is no handrail, also no handrail at the lower level which makes traversing the stairs dangerous, not only for me, with an injury but for future guests who may be older or frail. Also the photos of the unit on the Stayz website do not truly reflect the interior. On the whole, we'd be only too pleased to come back and stay here again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features Having previously always stayed in the hotels we were unsure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. It was very roomy and had everything we needed. It was clean and modern, loved the spa in the main bedroom and the layout overall. We normally hire a buggy but this room came with one. Highly recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Little Town House Booked this apartment for family of 5 over Easter Holidays. We were extremely impressed with the interior all very clean and very spacious, 2nd bedroom was big enough to hold the rollaway too without being too cramped. Beach towels and a bonus to save bringing them and we ordered a Coles delivery which was left at our front door. The outside furniture on the balcony however was very worn and dirty, the seats cushions were very smelly and stained and I had to use a blanket to cover them before I could sit down, the small glass table is very unsteady due to sun damage but that is my only negative. I did however notice that this property is under contract so hopefully the new owners will rectify that as we would definitely like to return next year. The use of the buggy itself for the whole stay is fantastic. I only left one star off due to the outside furniture cleanliness & condition otherwise we all agreed we had a 5* holiday.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average views My family stayed here for a week but wasn't entirely impressed with the accommodation. The views from the top balcony are obstructed by tall trees and the bottom balcony has no views. The Nintendo Wii didn't work. The coffee machine water compartment had dead insects, never used it in the end. Lot of light fittings were fused. Lot of dust on the furniture. The carpets needed a good clean. Basic necessities were minimal and never hot topped up. The apartment is not suitable for a family with young children or toddlers. Unsafe with the stairs and no way to block it off. All of this information was not mentioned on the site prior to booking it.
