This 4-bedroom house is completely self-contained. It is nestled in a quiet location overlooking Dent and Whitsunday Passages, but is only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Marina and the Hamilton Island Resort.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over two levels, and can accommodate up to 9 adults. As the price changes depending on the number of people staying, it can provide an affordable holiday for groups of all sizes - and we do not charge for children under 5.
Three of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds, while the fourth can be set up with either 2 or 3 single beds. To increase your options, we can supply a fold-out bed and 2 cots. All linen is supplied, including for the cots, although we would ask you to bring your own beach towels.
Each level has its own large balcony over-looking Dent and Whitsunday Passages and provide a magnificent view of the sun as it sets in the evening. All the rooms overlooking the balconies have floor-to-ceiling windows so that you can take advantage of the wonderful view from inside or outside. The house has everything we can think of, starting with a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. It even has a blender for mixing your evening cocktails, and a Nespresso coffee machine so you can make barista-quality coffee at home There is a bathroom on each level, including one with a spa bath, and downstairs you will find the laundry hidden away in a cupboard.
We have a pool which we share with 11 other houses in our development and an electric golf buggy which carries 4 people for your personal use. When you stay at our house, you have full access to the main pools, restaurants, etc. of the Resort. This includes their famous Bar Pool where you can enjoy a cocktail without getting out of the pool
At Casuarina Cove, you are only a couple of minutes walk from the Marina and the harbourside shopping district. You can pick up a relaxing coffee or enjoy a light lunch at the Marina Café, get fish and chips from Popeye's or pizza from the Mantaray Cafe. There are also fine dining restaurants: seafood from Mariner's, Mexican from Tako's Italian from Romano's or splurge at the Yacht Club. Don't forget the Marina Tavern for a more traditional 'pub' atmosphere, or Marina Daze which hosts live music on a Sunday evening; there are so many options.
Front Street also hosts a number of clothing, resort and tourist shops, as well as providing the necessities, such as the General Store, Bakery, Pharmacy, Bottle Shop and Post Office. You can also arrange your next snorkel/dive trip out to the Great Barrier Reef or Whitehaven Beach, a tandem sky-dive over the resort or take one of the ferries which regularly arrive in the marina to another Whitsunday island or the mainland.
Just a short buggy ride across the Island is the Resort, to which you have complete access. Here you can find Catseye Beach, which is excellent for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. You can also choose from a variety of other water activities, including sailing, jetskis and parasailing there is a charge for watersports. There are four pools to choose from on this side of the island, as well as more bars, restaurants and shops. This is also where you will find Mini-Golf, the Bowling Alley, Gym and, for the younger members of your party, the Clownfish Club.
If you are feeling a little more energetic, you can take a walk through the National Park which occupies 80 of the island, and discover solitary beaches and other magnificent views. You could also charter a yacht, a cruiser, or hire a dinghy to further enjoy this Queensland paradise.
Hamilton Island itself, is centrally located in the Whitsundays, a group of idyllic islands not far from the Great Barrier Reef. The island is easily accessed by ferry from Shute Harbour or Airlie Beach, and direct flights are available from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns, flying straight onto the Island.
