Luxury $4.0 million dollar apartment, situated in the Islands premier development. Offering breathtaking ocean and marina views, this spacious apartment is sure to provide the perfect holiday experience. Comes with its own buggy, normally $80.00 a day to hire.

A large lounge with modern comfortable furnishings including large screen Television and Austar, allows for relaxation after a busy day on the island. Or relax in the summer Spa on your own balcony.

The modern kitchen equipped with European stainless steel appliances, and all the modern cons, makes eating in - a pleasure. Complete with coffee machine and starter packs of coffee pods provided.

Dining area with large table and seating for 8. And of course large outdoor dining table and seating for 8. Huge wrap around balcony with built in fenced Plunge Pool..

Second lounge room with comfortable double sofa bed can be used for sleeping - please notify us if needed at time of booking as additional $75 linen charge per booking may apply

Top things to do on Hamilton Island

Whitehaven Beach is protected by the Whitsunday Islands National Park, and in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. It’s been voted the world’s top eco-friendly beach, and Queensland’s cleanest beach. Whitsunday Island’s famous beach stretches for seven kilometres and is washed by swirls of turquoise, blue and green water. The sand is 98 per cent pure white silica, which gives it a brilliant, near luminescent colour. Experience the unforgettable beauty and colour of the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays - from the air and below the water -The shallows of Whitehaven Beach are often visited by various species of turtles and other marine life, including dolphins. If arriving by boat, you can anchor at Tongue Bay, and then take a short walk up the hill to the lookout across Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach.

A few facts about infrastructure on Hamilton Island:

•Approximately $16M is spent annually on capital expenditure for the maintenance of roads, utilities and infrastructure.

•Power is supplied to the island via a 22km, 10MW power cable which supplies power to Mt Roper, Stoney Beach, Long Island and Hamilton Island. Installation of the power cable was over $15M. Hamilton Island Enterprises can supply Ergon if required.

•Hamilton Island also has a powerhouse which houses six diesel generators - producing 9MW. The Oatley family have recently invested $30M to upgrade the powerhouse.

•A $1.8M pipeline has been installed between Hamilton Island and Dent Island to supply power, water and utilities to the Hamilton Island Golf Club.

•The island’s water consumption is approximately 1.8 megalitres per day. There are four dams on the island, plus a reverse osmosis plant which provides the main water supply.

Ferry service

Passenger ferry services operate from the Hamilton Island Marina. The 60 minute ferry trip from Airlie Beach departs from two convenient locations at either Port Of Airlie Marina or Shute Harbour just south of Airlie Beach, with more than a dozen services throughout the day.

Tour operators offering excursions to Whitehaven Beach, the Great Barrier Reef and other Whitsunday Islands also depart from the marina.

On foot

One of the best ways to explore the island is by walking. With several activities, restaurants and bars conveniently located on the resort side of the island, it’s also easy to wander from your accommodation to some of the island’s key highlights.

If you want to explore the island at your own pace - or if you’re staying at accommodation that’s further away from the action, you may wish to use your buggy.

The only Whitsundays Island with its own commercial airport, Hamilton Island Airport services direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns, with Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas.

Private flights

Regional charter flights can be organised from Mackay, Proserpine and Airlie Beach.

Ferry

Ferries cruise to Hamilton Island throughout the day from Port of Airlie and Shute Harbour on the mainland. Long term parking is available at the Shute Harbour & Port of Airlie terminals, as well as other parking within the precinct.

If you’re travelling to Hamilton Island from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, coaches run to Airlie Beach, and arrive at the Port of Airlie transport terminal, right at the Port of Airlie ferry departure point.

The Sunlander train runs four times a week from Brisbane and Cairns to Proserpine, with coach connections to the Port of Airlie and the Hamilton Island ferry.

The 1,100km drive north from Brisbane to Shute Harbour takes around 12 hours non-stop. Follow the Bruce Highway to Proserpine, then take the exit to Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour on the coast. Long term parking is available at the Shute Harbour & Port of Airlie terminals, as well as other parking within the precinct.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Location, Great for Families We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at the Villa. The location was good, the views were beautiful and the Villa itself was clean, spacious and quite. The only negatives would be that the Villa needed a little TLC. The linen on all beds were very worn, discoloured and stained, there were areas of the villa which needed repair and water damage in one bathroom and bedroom ceiling which makes the bedroom quite musty smelling (we had to open all doors and windows each day and keep the fan on high to try and air the room out). The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals however some crockery was chipped and the glassware (ie wine glasses) weren't of luxury standard and it was hard to find any glasses that matched. There were also works occuring on the boardwalk to the marina so we were unable to walk to resturants for dinner. We would stay in the Pavillions again however would look at the other properties within the complex.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome location! We really enjoyed our stay at Villa 3 Pavillions. The location was fantastic! It was great relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the stunning views over the marina. The apartment had plenty of space and came with everything we needed. Will definitely recommend to friends thinking about staying on Hamilton Island.

It is a very large unit, loads of space for everyone and has a great kitchen with everything you need. If we were to return to Hamilton Island, we would most certainly stay at Pavillions again. We had a fantastic week!
