Tangalooma House is a beautiful Beach House located on Moreton Island. The house can sleep up to ten people. There are three bedrooms in the house, the main bedroom has a king bed with ensuite; the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two king singles. The rumpus room has two couches which convert into four singles. There are two bathrooms in the house and a total of three toilets. There is also an outside hot water shower. The house is located on the hill above Tangalooma Resort. We are only a two minute walk to the beach or you can drive down a sandy road onto the beach. Guests have full use of all Resort Facilities including Tennis, Squash, Archery, Swimming Pools, mini golf and many more activities that Resort Guests can use (this does not include the Dolphin Feeding programme).
Tangalooma House has sweeping views across Moreton Bay to Bribie Island, Brisbane City and the Tangalooma Wrecks.

GUEST NUMBERS & LINNEN
The number of occupants must not exceed the number of persons shown on your confirmation. Any increase in numbers must be agreed in advance in writing and may incur an additional fee. Linen and towels can be arranged for a cost of $20 per person. However guests may bring their own linen at no extra cost.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival, and check-out time is 9am on the day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out will be offered where circumstances allow. We will endeavour to accommodate early check in and late check out requests whenever possible.
Keys will be made available via express post following payment. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, money order or internet bank transfer. A deposit of 50% of total rent is required to secure the booking. A security deposit payment between $300 and $1000 is required and will be refunded within 7 working days of your departure, subject to our terms and conditions. Final payment for accommodation must be paid 14 days prior to your arrival or as pre arranged.
If cancellation is made 28 days prior to arrival date, 100% of your booking is kept. If cancelled more than 28 days prior to your arrival date, a 50% booking fee is taken.
For the comfort of all our guests, our property is strictly non-smoking indoors property. Note: cigarette burns to the property HAVE and will equate to loss of your deposit so you will need to smoke outside.
ANIMALS and PETS
Pets are not allowed, no exceptions. Moreton Island is a National Park and
domestic animals are strictly prohibited within the resort.
The property is part of Tangalooma Resort – Noise / Functions / Parties – causing ‘Excessive’ noise and/or anti social behavior is not permitted. So please be considerate to other holiday makers in nearby properties.
Tangalooma Island Resort security personal and / or Police can be called by any guest to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behavior. After one warning guests may be evicted from the resort by Tangalooma Resort security with loss of both rent and bond.
Any breakages, damage or lost items must be paid for by occupants excluding reasonable accidental breakage of glassware or crockery. In the event of any breakage or any damage to the property please advise us prior to your departure so that every effort can be made to repair or replace items for the next guests. If the damage requires more serious repairs please advise owners immediately to facilitate those repairs. Remember repairs are generally serviced from the mainland which requires a lead in time and additional cost.
The cleaner is very familiar with the property and can identify damage and items missing.
If you identify damage upon arrival advise us at that time.
CLEANLINESS UPON DEPARTURE
We require you to leave the property in a reasonable level cleanliness. This includes:-
- loading and unloading the dishwasher; removal of rubbish; BBQ cleaned. The cleaning contractors charge us for extra cleaning beyond a reasonable standard. Any cleaning charges or cleaning requirements in addition to a standard clean, will be passed on to you.
NOTE: Past examples have been: Dirty BBQ, Unwashed pots & crockery put away in cupboards, Soiled doona; Children drawing on furniture and walls; Food stains on walls and carpet (there is a vacuum cleaner left for your use if required). Loss of keys or security gate passes - incur us a $40 Tangalooma Resort fee for each pass replacement.
No responsibility will be taken for the guest’s personal property, so please take
care. Should you leave anything at the property on departure please advise us as
soon as possible so we can make any necessary arrangements to retrieve it before the next guests arrive.
YOUR AGREEMENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note that by making a booking and/or making payment for a booking YOU are agreeing to the 'Terms and Conditions' as outlined above. And, any breach/s of the abovementioned Terms and Conditions as determined by and at the discretion of the owner may result in the:- Cancellation of the booking, Alteration of rent fee; Termination of the letting during the stay; Withholding of bond or part thereof.
