Seaview is a 2 level house that was architectually designed and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and large verandah areas overlooking the water. It is positioned in a hilltop positon so that you are looking down on everything around you. Most guest that stay here comment that it is such a wonderful position.
All water supplied to this house is collected rainwater and is lovely to shower under and good to drink. The power system at Seaview is solar and we supply lots of refrigeration having 2 x 450 liter Westinghouse no frost fridges at your disposal. There is about 220 liters of freezer space in these fridges.
The house is self contained and we supply all cooking facilities including gas stove oven in the kitchen and 5 burner BBQ on the patio. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied. You will need to bring linen and blankets as I do not live on Moreton and have difficulty supplying these. Pillows are supplied but you need to bring a pillowslip for them.
The bedding arrangements are as follows:- Lower level Main bedroom has a queen sized bed. Lower bedroom 2 has 2 double bunks. Upper level main bedroom has a queen sized bed. In upper level living area there is another double bunk.
You will need to bring your own 4x4 vehicle to access the house which is at the town of Bulwer on Moreton Island. Alternately you could catch a 4x4 taxi on Moreton and be taken to and from the house. The Vehicle ferry is called the Micat and if bringing a vehicle you will need to book the ferry at the same time you make a booking at Seaview.
