Getting to Tangalooma
4WD – It takes 90 minutes on the MICAT car barge departing from the Port of Brisbane and lands near the iconic Wrecks. Reaching the house takes another 20 minutes via a sand road.
No 4WD transport- Guests can use the Tangalooma Island Resort transport ferries that leaves the Brisbane River from Holt St, Pinkenba. You must also book a minibus to take you and your luggage from the Tangalooma Jetty to the house .
Getting to the Resort from the house
You can reach the resort easily from the house on sealed roads with the buggy and security key, or on the 4WD sand road to the Resort car park. The Resort is actually only 150 metres away; however, the direct staircase there down the road from the house is very steep. Otherwise, a gentler 10-minute walk on the sealed road goes to the resort.
