Gibbards' Guest House was built around 1906 and is named after its original owners the Gibbards family. The house features original pressed metal ceilings and polished timber floor boards. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the house can accommodate up to six people.
The cottage also features a charming front porch where you can take in a Western Queensland sunset and a spacious back deck where you can relax and enjoy a meal. Travellers with children will appreciate the luscious green lawn, a great space to run around!
The Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame and The Qantas Museum are a must see while in Longreach and are less than five minutes drive away or a 20 minute walk if you are looking to stretch your legs.
With the booking office for Kinnon and Co. only a short stroll from the cottage you will be able to book yourself a 'Gallop through the Scrub' on a Cobb and Co coach or book a river boat cruise along the Thomson River enjoying some spectacular outback scenery!
