Hi my name is Vern. I have holliday let my unit for the last 5 years and have now decided to look after rentals myself. I will meet you at the unit at the start of your stay and show you around or if thats not possible I can give the number to the key safe and you can let yourself in. After hours check in available. Having lived at Bribie for a number of years I can answer any questions about Bribie you may have. You can contact me by phone should any problems arise. My aim is to make your stay as happy and enjoyable possible. I charge no cleaning fee and the linen package is provided free. There are no added extras.

My lovely large 3 bedroom apartment is situated on the water at Bongaree on Bribie Island.
This is a second (top) floor unit, at the back of a block of 7, with passage views from the kitchen, dining, living areas and back balcony. It is bordered at the side and back by a tidal creek which is alive with local wildlife, including ducks, ibis, lorrikets and the kookaburras which like to come and sit on the balcony to say hello and be hand fed.
Come in, sit back and relax with a drink while watching the sun set over the mainland across the Pumestone Passage.
The surrounding area is very quite during the day and very very quite at night.
Located on South Esplanade at Bongaree, it is quiet enough for a peaceful getaway but still within walking distance of shops (including antique shops and dress shops), takeaways, waterfront cafes, restaurants, the Bowls Club (400 Metres) , the Sports Club (50 Metres) and the RSL Club(700 Metres).
Major food shops including Woolworths (Major Shopping Centre), IGA and Aldi are within minutes drive.
The new Sanstone Point Hotel is 5 minutes drive. (mainland side of bridge)
The patroled surf beach is a 5 minute drive across the island. The Surf Life Saving Club offers beautiful meals on ther deck overlooking the surf beach.
The public boat ramp on Welsby Parade is just a couple of minutes drive.
There is excellent fishing and swiming in the passage or just lay in the sun on the beautiful sandy beach straight across the road.
There are also picknic tables and chairs and free BBQs in the surounding beach front parks.
The flat wide walking track goes for several kilometres along the beach front.
For the bird watcher a five minute walk south to Buckleys Hole will find this 87.7 hectare park with bird hide is home to more than 190 species of migratory and wading birds, species include spoonbill, cormorant, pied oyster catcher, egret, grey-tailed tattler.

The unit is family friendly and can comfortably sleep 6 people. The bedrooms are light and airy and the kitchen is well appointed.
Relax in the lounge watching Foxtel or a DVD on the 50" flat screen digital TV.
Enjoy your meals at the dining table that seats 6.
Relax on the balcony and watch the boats, dolphins and bird life.
All windows in the kitchen,dinning room and lounge have beautiful views of the water and the surounging parks and creek.

What do you need to bring? Nothing but yourself!
HOUSE RULES Not many but important
This is a family holliday or couples retreat unit. IT IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. So No Parties. There are other owners and guests in the unit block and we ask that their peace and quite be respected especially at night time and definatly after 10pm.
Guests can loose their security bond and can be evicted if they breach this policy.
No Excess Guests
There is NO CLEANING FEE so we ask that the unit be left clean and tidy as found.
Furniture is not be be moved.
Please note this is a Non Smoking Unit. ( Smoking is allowed outside on the Balcony)
Sorry no pets allowed in the unit at all.
Replacement fee of $150 will be charged if the unit keys are lost or not returned.
