Description

Boathound Lake is an immaculately presented townhouse which is a brand new PET FRIENDLY addition to Bribie Island's holiday accommodation. The property is located at 28 Bibimulya Street Bellara and is currently available at a Special Introductory Price.

The property boasts many features including a fully fenced yard to ensure your pet remains safe and secure at all times.

The layout is ideally suited to comfortably accommodate couples or small families. The main bedroom has 1 X Queen Bed and the 2nd. bedroom has 2 X Single Beds.

Just pack your linen towels, sheets and pillow cases because everything else needed to ensure a perfect break has been catered for If you want the total relaxation package linen hire and/or cleaning can be arranged for a moderate fee.

The interior has been modernly decorated, the living areas are air-conditioned and bedrooms both have ceiling fans. However, you will probably want to spend most of your time lazing in the well-appointed outdoor al fresco area, basking in the serenity of Melrose Lake.

This townhouse is located a short walking distance to the best Boat Ramp Air/Sea Rescue on the the Island. It is also within easy reach of the beach, parks, restaurants, shops, walking and cycling paths and the iconic Bribie Island Hotel.

Bribie Island offers so much for so many different types of holiday makers. The Sunshine Coast and breathtaking Glasshouse Mountains are nearby, or for the boating enthusiast, the untouched beauty of the Pumistone Passage will be appealing. Relax and unwind on the Island by lazily exploring the many shops, cafes, clubs and restaurants.

Island Features

Since commercial fishing has been banned in the Pumicestone Passage, Bribie Island has become the best fishing & holiday location close to Brisbane and with the rest of Moreton Bay close by it has become an ideal place to bring your family or take a charter boat or your own boat and go further afield.

Charter boats leave from Scarborough and most will pick up at the Bribie Jetty for a great day out if you do not wish to take your own.

The sandy beaches on the inside of the Island are regarded as safe for children and within walking distance of the house.

Ocean beaches & the Surf Lifesaving Club are a short 10 minute drive away.

The Island boasts 2 Golf courses, 3 Bowls Clubs, 2 Large Hotels plus an RSL & Surf Club and all the shops you expect including Woolworths, Aldi, IGI and loads of other shops and places to dine or enjoy.

Natural Beauty

Melrose Park is situated between Melrose Av. and Bibimulya St.

When the island was being developed the attraction of the beaches and the Pumicestone Passage was so strong that some of the other natural beauties were forgotten.

From the rear Entertainment area of the house, you overlook a lake, while enjoying a relaxing time or meal with your family and friends or walk in the Park which contains 3 natural lakes.

Moreton Bay Regional Council have completed a $800, 000.00 upgrade to the facilities of the Melrose lake precinct so it has become a wonderful place to visit.

Generally there are some Black Swans and Magpie Geese as well as Rainbow Lorikeets, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and an occasional Scaly Breasted Lorikeet.

It is a delight to take a walk and relax in the privacy of your own little world right at your back door and even in your backyard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spot. We had a lovely holiday with our dogs. This house is ideal for dogs and the walking tracks around the lake and down at the beach are a bonus. Great holiday very relaxing.
