More about the space
We welcome questions and communication during your stay. We have a portacot available if required. Our family pets and young daughter will share the grounds, however your separate residence is private and segregated from the main house.
Our home is located on top of Buderim and is a short walk into the Village where there is an array of coffee shops, cafes, boutiques and much more. Mooloolaba beach is a short drive down the hill or you can head north to Noosa. Buderim water falls are nearby and provide a natural haven to explore all year round. We are happy to suggest many other sightseeing options if you would like recommendations. These range from dining options, weekend markets or beautiful walking tracks. We are truly blessed to live in such a gorgeous part of the world and are excited that we share our little part of that with you.
There are public transport (Bus) facilities within walking distance with an in room guide for further reference.
Other Things to Note
We have plenty of books and some board games for you to enjoy if you decide to just hang out at 'home'.
"We highly recommend Nora's Place. Jess and Joey and Nora are such a beautiful family and they made us feel comfortable right away. Buderim is a lovely little community. The shops (and most importantly coffee shops) are within walking distance from the house. They live in an urban food street which is a community initiative of growing fruit and veggies on the council land outside homes. We were really impressed with the community spirit. Nora's place is a lovely spacious flat nestled in greenery at the back of Jess and Joey's house. We felt like we had privacy, but having the accommodation close by meant that we could spend some time getting to know our lovely hosts. The flat was beautifully appointed with modern appliances and a fully functional kitchen. The separate bedroom has a really comfortable queen size bed and was spacious enough to set up a portacot for our baby. Jess and Joey's love of organic and ethical products with evident in the beautiful range of soaps, shampoos and even the milk in the fridge! Nora's Place is a great location...10min to the beach, Sunshine Plaza, main strip of shops at Maroochydore. It's close to the Eumundi markets (on every Wed and Sat), the Glass House Mountains (Montville is a lovely little mountain town with lots of interesting shops) and only 30min from Noosa (farmers markets are on Sunday). We had a really relaxing week on our first family holiday with our 6 month old. We would love to come back again for another holiday soon! " - Laura
"The moment we arrived at Jess's home we fell in love with beautiful Buderim! Jess & her lovely family welcomed us and quickly established an easy rapport. The self contained villa is exactly as the photos depict - modern, stylish, spotlessly clean, comfortable, extremely well maintained and thoughtfully stocked with basic supplies and a good choice of books and magazines. There are gorgeous tropical garden views from every window, complimented by the peaceful clucking of 3 chickens happily free ranging. The location is within an easy walk to shops and restaurants and a short drive to the wonderful local beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at "Nora's Place" and would definitely book again. Thanks Jess!"- Maria
"Thank you so much Joey, Jess and Nora for a wonderful stay. You have done a wonderful job in what we understand a very short time. We could not have had better facilities. Well stocked kitchen, bathroom, beautiful toiletries and ample towels. The bedroom plenty of cupboard space and a bed to die for. We feel as if we have become part of your family in the three weeks been have been here. Nice knowing you are there but never needed anything as it was all fitted out. We would definitely recommend "Nora's Place" to any friends or family visiting this part of Australia. Well done and thank you so much again". - Keith and Hilary Lancaster (U.K)
"Jess, Joey and Little Nora (& Ollie) Thank you so much for our wonderful visit. My daughter and I had a lovely time & really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, as well as the lovely unit, including the special "touches" like artisan soap, lovely bed, yoga mat & nice magazines. As I said it was "a soft place to land" Warm Regards - Heather and Charlotte
