LOCATION - coolum Beach - Yaroomba
Yaroomba Beach borders Point Arkwright which is a beautiful headland that is just south of Coolum Beach. This is a fabulaous location with cystal rock pools alive with all kinds of sea creatures. The point is particularly popular for spear & rock fishing. Surfers won't be disappointed either with the break off the point all the sweetier because it is not over crowded.
There is a wonderful bush track through the reserve that meanderes along the headland cliff with lookouts to take in the beautiful coastline north & south. Picinic tables & viewing spots make this one of the local's favorite tracks. A walk up Mount Coolum is another must do with a well constructed track that allows you to pick your pace. It is very popular with fitness fanatics who run up it...not for me.
With world class golf courses nearby there is plenty to do or alternatively you can just sit of the deck of this lovely home with a book & listen to the birds and the waves roll in..
Golfers uou are only a few minutes leisurely walk to the Palmer Resort Coolum where a round of golf can be followed up by a treatment or two in the spa.
