Description

Just minutes drive to Hastings Street this idyllic house is hidden away on a quiet lane-way directly opposite the beautiful Weyba Creek that flows from Lake Weyba into the Noosa River and only 5 minutes' walk to the famous Noosa Farmers' Markets. Weyba Creek is an expansive nature habitat and an important ecosystem for marine feeding and breeding. The expansive waterway in front of the house is a favourite local spot for swimming, boating, canoeing, crabbing and fishing.

The large architecturally designed house is perfectly situated between renowned Hastings Street and Noosaville being less than a five minute drive or bus stop around the corner to either location and just a few minutes more to iconic Sunshine Beach. You will experience some of Australia's best restaurants, caf├ęs and shopping. Alternatively if you would prefer it's only ten minutes in your small tinnie boat to either location and you can park your boat out the front on the creek. If you are feeling a bit more energetic it's about a half hour walk or 10 minute cycle, or as I sometimes do, you can Kayak Best yet on a Sunday you can walk just five minutes over the footbridge to the famous Noosa Farmers market where you will experience the region's gourmet delights.

The home is on two levels and has three large bedrooms 2 queen size and one bunk room with extra bed. The downstairs master bedroom is huge with large walk-in wardrobe with large bathroom with his and hers sinks and bidet and opens to a verandah with hammock which is perfect for lying in on a lazy summer's day.

There are three toilets and two large bathrooms. In all it sleeps seven however, there is a rumpus room off the large lounge and dining area with a day bed where the sliding doors close that can be used as an additional bedroom.

The house is perfect for entertaining with brand new large designer kitchen with beautiful granite benches and central granite island bench with sink for keeping the chef company while she/he prepares. The kitchen has all mod cons including chefs oven and an amazing walk in fridge and walk in pantry where you won't have to tirelessly search for things. The laundry has fold out ironing board, washing machine and dryer. It also has a double automatic lock-up garage.

The house is very spacious, light and airy with large living areas both upstairs and downstairs for different dining experiences including fireplace downstairs during winter months. Downstairs is a beautiful garden room with plantation shutters where you can dine or just sit and enjoy the surrounding tropical bushland and the creek area which is full of native bird life, including black cockatoos, parrots, scrub turkeys, and large goannas. Upstairs from the kitchen you climb a staircase to newly finished extensions that includes a sunroom/dining room and deck looking amongst the trees to the river. You will feel like you are in a treehouse but with river views as well. This room is perfect for a lazy summers lunch being light and airy for outdoor dining with large full length cantilever doors which opens the whole upstairs up to nature. It has convenient granite benches, a sink and bar fridge. Best of all, koalas are regularly seen in the street which will be sure to give you a real tropical Queensland experience.

Full access to the house other than one locked storage room and one locked cupboard in the kitchen. Full free internet with smart TV, Built in ironing board, dryer, washing machine, dishwasher all available. Linen and towels supplied. Keys can be accessed through a locked outside safe where code will be provided if arriving at odd hours. Easy access : only a few minutes drive and 10 minutes by own boat or bike to either Hastings St or Noosaville and a few minutes walk to the famous Noosa Farmers Market.

Downstairs is large, open plan and convenient for someone in a wheel chair previous owner designer was eventually confined to a wheelchair including handrails in toilet and kitchen and one bathroom sink lower than the other and large shower.

We love this quiet spot on the creek and I'm sure it will not disappoint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great property with rainforest surroundings This property had a great feel to it, was clean, spacious with lots of unexpected extras. Very close to Weyba Creek with owners supplying crab pots and fishing gear. We even managed to catch a couple of crabs! Great markets on a Sunday within easy distance and dog off leased area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holiday Heaven From the initial correspondence, to the arrival to the departure you could not ask for better customer service. Adrian responded to my emailed concerns, met us at the property for check in, explained the working of his lovely house and then facilitated an easy departure. The house itself has everything you could wish for and easily accommodated the 6 of us. The main living area is lovely and spacious with closed off breakout zones, the kitchen well equipped with the walk in fridge the highlight of the summer, the air-conditioning was also great on those really hot days. The location of the house was also perfect and the kids enjoyed the rope swing into the creek and benefited from the kayaks and other toys supplied in the garage. Being able to walk to the Noosa farmer's market was also a big plus. All in all it was a very pleasurable holiday with the kids offering the highest recommendation by asking that we book the house again for next summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You won't want to leave! Adrian was the perfect host. We greatly enjoyed our stay in his lovely home. The spacious house was beautifully presented, immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. The beds were also very comfortable. Its location was a definite plus as it was on Weyba Creek in which the children enjoyed swimming and paddling on the boards that Adrian provided in the well equipped double garage. Fishing gear was also provided as were crab-pots. The house is also within strolling distance of the Sunday morning markets and is central to Noosa and its beaches. A highlight was seeing a koala in the trees in front of the house. Adrian was easily contactable and was readily available to answer any questions we had during our stay. We can highly recommend a stay in Adrian's home - super central and so much natural beauty on your doorstep...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique Creekside Gem We had a delightful stay in this quiet beautifully appointed house on the banks of Weyba Creek. We enjoyed the short walk over the bridge to the iconic Noosa Farmers market and to the fabulous Little Cove Coffee shop. Only a short bike ride to the Noosaville cafes and restaurants and the Noosa Main Beach precinct and National Park. After a busy day with the tourists at the beach it was lovely to return to the peace of this riverside locale to fish, listen to the birds or go Koala spotting (and yes we did see one). We'll be back....
