This is our Sunrise Beach house. Walk to the top of the street and then down the track to the beautiful patrolled beach in 5 or so minutes and surf, fish, swim or just relax. Take a fishing rod and the beach umbrella if you want. They are in the garage and you are welcome to use them just like we do. There are also a couple of surfboards and boogie board in the garage which you're welcome to use. All we ask is that you leave everything as you found it and it's all good.
The main bedroom is set up with a queen size bed and the other 2 bedrooms have a single bed in each of them, one room each for our kids. Each room has security screens so you can sleep while enjoying the beautiful fresh air. There are ceiling fans in each room and one big air conditioner in the living room which will in fact cool the bedrooms too if it gets really hot, which it rarely does.
The birds are amazing and it's super quiet, so much so that you can hear the waves crashing at night when the surf is up. There are board games you can play with the family and again we're happy for you to use them as long as you put them all away after using them. It's a very quiet pocket of Sunrise Beach.
If you don't feel like walking down to the beach you can of course drive there in thirty seconds, or you can drive into Noosa Heads and enjoy the main beach there. It takes you about 5 minutes to get there. And if you don't feel like driving, just walk to the end of the street and catch the bus into Noosa Heads, a 10-15 minute trip. The house is on an unfenced corner block to give you a wide sense of space without other houses/people on top of you. I've left a folder with lots of information on the local scene up there for you. It contains local information on good surfing and fishing spots, restaurants, public transport and shops etc. Tell the kids to leave all their IT devices at home and come up here and sit at the dining table and play a board game or just talk.
