Fully retractable cafe blinds keep out the elements when needed. A BBQ is provided for guest use.
The front door to the property is part of a much wider bi-fold door that connects the living area with the deck outside. The large open plan living/dining area has a fabulous high vaulted timber ceiling and there are ceiling fans and an air-conditioner for added comfort. Glass louvre-windows help to control airflow on those warmer summer evenings. The SmartTV has Netflix but is cleverly hidden in an ornate wooden cabinet.
The custom-built kitchen with timber cabinetry features an original ceramic kitchen sink and a marble-topped island that doubles as a small table with seating. The kitchen is fully-equipped with modern conveniences and there is a dining table to sit 6.
On this level you will find two of the three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and ceiling fan with doors that open out onto a small rear deck area that is shared with the bedroom next door. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, and also has a ceiling fan and doors out to the shared deck.
There is a main bathroom with a large freestanding bath and separate shower, in addition to a separate WC. Between the bathrooms you’ll find the laundry with a washer and drier.
On the top level of the house you find yourself in a huge master suite/retreat, complete with its own dressing room, large en suite and even an outdoor shower. There is a wrought-iron Queen bed and this room has both a ceiling fan and air-conditioning. The outdoor shower area is completely private and is a little oasis of calm in which to relax after a hard day on the beach.
There is car parking for 2 cars, and guests have access to the double garage underneath the house which also has racks for storing surfboards.
Oak Street is situated 5 minutes from Sunshine Beach Village and is a short stroll to the nearest beach access point from the bottom of the street. In the Village you’ll find a good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars, in addition to the family-friendly surf club. The beach is patrolled all year round.
