Description

The "wow factor" has been reintroduced into this classic timber house with the removal of carpet and Lino in the kitchen, living and 2 top level bedrooms to reveal beautifully seasoned hardwood floors now carefully polished and enhanced by quality antique rugs and Kilims. The bathrooms have been repainted and rejuvenated.

This classic 1980s Bob Collin architect designed beach house is rather like a "treehouse" and has been described as " the perfect beach house". A three bedroom and two bathroom holiday home, in a high quiet location at the highly sought after northern end of Sunshine Beach. Now with free business standard digital wifi and internet connection and free access to NETFLIX and STAN subscriptions with Apple TV.

Tanglewood House has three levels, offering guests a warm timber feel at a reasonable tariff, in a perfect holiday location. A classic style of beach house set in a very quiet situation, just a few streets back from the beach at the high end of a dead end road.

A central timber staircase takes you to the middle level with a open plan kitchen with a new G5500 SCU Miele dishwasher installed 08/14, dining room and living area opening onto a generous verandah with Weber barbeque and with some sea views. The house is buffered by native vegetation and idyllic for bird watchers. A new high quality large Panasonic flat screen TV was installed 08/14.

The top level has the main bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with 2 single beds and more extensive sea views. New cedar timber shutters were installed in both these bedrooms in 2016. The original bathroom with shower and excellent water pressure and separate toilet are on this level too.

The lower level comprises a large "dormitory" type bedroom with queen and single bedding and opening onto a wide and very private verandah. A new Samsung LCD TV has been installed. There is an ideal second family area or accommodation for another couple on this lower level.

Across the corridor on this lower area is a large bathroom with a shower and laundry with Bosch front loader and separate toilet. An outside shower is down the back steps.

A new stove and top of the range Weber barbeque were installed in September 2010. A new moisture sensing clothes dryer and washing machine have also been installed.So Tanglewood is well equipped for the discerning couple or family.

Sunshine Beach has become a popular tourist destination in its own right. Only a 5 minute drive away from Noosa and bordering the southern side of the Noosa National Park, Sunshine Beach is a leafy suburb built next to a popular surf beach and surrounded by native bushland. The pristine beach attracts a good swell and provides excellent beach breaks for surfers. The beach is also patrolled so it is suitable for the whole family. Views to Lion's Head and the National Park are stunning.

Sunshine Beach is situated around several hills and valleys and many properties obtain truly beautiful views all the way from Lion's Head to Mooloolaba. Even down on the beachfront, properties obtain wide views over the deep blue Pacific Ocean.

A good size north facing furnished balcony on 2 levels, with private BBQ and seating with comfortable squatters chairs, is perfect for guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the treehouse charm.

A great location.

Tanglewood House is near the top end of Bowman Terrace, a quiet prestigious dead end road just a short walk from the patrolled beach and an array of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques around the corner from the surf life saving club.

Walk up the hill and it is a short walk to access the extensive Noosa National Park and walks along the coastline to Noosa. Or turn right up the top of Bowman and it is a 5 to 10 minute walk along Seaview Terrace to access the dog friendly beach that goes right up to the headland and National Park access from the beach.
