Of course the beach is just there, with a tidal swimming enclosure. Walk up to the point, and at low tide, explore the beach critters. Well behaved dogs are often seen off leash up past the point.
There's also a huge playground and park, with up to date playground equipment, and an excellent sand volleyball court.
The local corner store is just across the road, which also sells fuel, bait, basic tackle and trailer parts, souvenirs and take away food.
