Bella Vista farm house is nestled in the beautiful Adelaide Hills located in Mount Torrens. Only 1hr drive from the city centre, surrounded by the Adelaide Hills food trail, beautiful wineries and the half way point from Adelaide to Mannum, it makes it the perfect weekend getaway to escape the hustle & bustle. It is the ideal location to enjoy some time away or an excuse to get some friends together and explore what the Adelaide Hills has on offer
The home is situated on a rural untouched peaceful & secluded 70 acres of land. This contemporary home has been uniquely designed and built in 2015 by the owners as a labor of love; a tribute to the land, bringing the outside in with the warmth of double glazed glass windows, corrugated iron features, polished concrete floors & paddock stone extracted from the land, beautifully hand crafted by the owner to form the striking stone facade and internal fireplace. The home is fully self-sufficient & ecofriendly, fully powered by a solar system & utilizing rain water.
The home offers all the modern luxuries with a cozy and rustic feel. An entertainers fully equipped kitchen, dream living area surrounded by glass with a huge open fireplace for those cold winter nights and a dining area fit for a king with views of the olive acreage which is used to press fresh seasonal olive oil. The home comprises three spacious queen sized bedrooms which all have their own external private entry doors & three full bathrooms. The house easily accommodates 6 people and has the option of a sofa bed for another 2.
Bella Vista house features;

Hire 1,2 or 3 Bedrooms with exclusive use of the home - rates are based on twin share rooms should you require 1 person per room please advise at time of booking otherwise we will assume guests are sharing.
First bedroom is $300 per night, additional bedrooms/sofa is an additional $100 per night
including Luxurious Australian Woolen Quilts & 1000 Count Bed Linen
Porta cots or high chairs are not available at Bella vista farm house - should you require we can organise to hire for your stay at an additional cost. Please advise at time of booking otherwise we will assume you will be travelling with your own

The house is fully powered by a solar system we ask guests to refrain from using the oven & cook top after 8pm... Not adhearing to this may result in limited or loss of electricity. There is a back up generator to top up the solar batteries however this system will go into night mode between 10.30pm & 6am where the generator will shut down. This is so guests have a peaceful nights sleep with out hearing the motor running.
REMEMBER - you have chosen to stay in a solar powered home please be aware of energy usage & our recommendations.

Due to our unique power supply, use of the airconditioning system is set to limited hours as per the owners instructions.

• Open Fire Place
Timber supplied for the months of winter/cooler months ONLY as main source of Heating for winter with limited use of the ducted heating in the evenings as per owners instructions to warm up the bedrooms.
• BBQ Facilities
Should you require electricity to plug in sleep apnea machines, oxygen masks for breathing or other essential medical devises that require "power" please ensure you have your own battery power supply or a back up power option battery in the case of power failures.
As we are unaware of how much power these units draw, we strongly recommend to be safe using your own power supply to function.
We will not be responsible if your devise is unable to work in the event of a power failure.
PARTIES and FUNCTIONS are STRICTLY PROHIBITED..
should you wish to entertain others who are not booked into Bella vista, please consider one of our many local attractions to meet your friends at Our fully self sufficient home would not be ideal for functions or large entertaining
STRICTLY NO SMOKING - smoking will result in instant FULL loss of the Refundable Damage Deposit Bond Please understand these rules are in place to protect our home and surrounding homes especially during TOTAL FIRE BAN SEASON
Once confirmed and booked we will require a copy of your drivers licence for proof of ID
