This 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is ideally located between vibrant King William Road and Goodwood Road where you have markets, cinemas, schools, cafes, restaurants, Adelaide Showground and boutique fashion outlets.

If you are a first time visitor to Adelaide then this two bedroom ground floor apartment is in a location that would be hard to beat. You can leave the car in the allocated car park and walk to practically everywhere you need to go. And if it’s too far to walk, then hop on the bus or tram within a 5-10 minute walk from the home. Souter Park or the Orphanage is at the end of the street and a good spot to stretch those little feet (or the big ones).

The location has easy access to Flinders via direct bus route (approximately 15 minutes) and the city (5 minutes drive or 10 minutes by bus). This home is perfect for accessing all the popular Adelaide attractions or festival/sporting events including our popular Gouger Street. Adelaide Oval, Casino, Central Market, Rundle Mall. Whilst the Entertainment Centre or Glenelg will take approximately 20 minutes via tram.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and is located on ground floor apartment and is perfect for families, friends and business travellers. Check out our reviews as we've had many families stay. The home is a light airy apartment with private front and back courtyards and being towards the rear of the block it is a quiet spot. There are two allocated offstreet parking spots near the back gate of the home.

Have your delicious coffee in the courtyard garden or enjoy the buzz of a nearby barista. Try one of the endless food options on King William Road or Goodwood Road, discover the many shopping options nearby, delight in a walk in this exclusive suburb and meet the locals who are doing the same thing. Get your food provisions from the Adelaide Farmers market which operates every Sunday and only a 15 minute walk away.

City attractions such as Adelaide Central Market, Adelaide Zoo (Pandas), Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens and museums. The home is on a direct bus/tram route to many major events and venues including the new Adelaide Oval, Morphettville Racecourse, Adelaide Showgrounds, Entertainment Centre and the Adelaide Festival and Fringe. It's located within a 15 minute drive to the Flinders Medical Centre or Royal Adelaide Hospital - both also accessible by the excellent public transport options nearby including bus or tram.

If you love the beach then the home is only a short 10 minute drive to the lovely shores of Glenelg Beach, Glenelg Shopping strip and restaurants and cafes. Alternatively if you don't have a car then the Tram will also take you straight to Jetty Road, Glenelg Beach in 20 minutes.

What you get

Bedding, bath towels and basic supplies are provided. We usually sneak in a few luxuries like a pack of Coffee Pods, milk, muesli and Tim Tams.

The property is not serviced daily, however there are laundry facilities (front loader washer) in the apartment or as an added option we can provide a mid stay clean or fresh linen

Bedrooms are configured as follows:

Bedroom Two - 2 x single beds - built in wardrobe and overhead fan
Porta-cots and high chairs are available upon request (at no charge) - cot linen is not supplied.

There is off street parking for two cars right next to the garden gate.

Generous and fast WiFi Internet allowance is provided at no charge.

The home has two small private courtyard areas for your personal use and a small garden which is green and two outdoor settings. This ground floor apartment is situated at the rear of a small group of 6 and other guests have commented that it is a very quiet area. The area itself is an exclusive suburb of Hyde Park with some lovely old homes, wide streets with Jacarandas and just delightful to have a walk in the neighbourhood with the locals.

Check in: around 4.00pm but can be earlier if the home is ready earlier (luggage drop and key collection can be from noon by prior arrangement) - Late night arrivals can also be accommodated.
Check out: by 10am (luggage can be stored until 1pm by arrangement)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet location An enjoyable stay in a quiet, compact apartment which had all the features you need when away from home for a week and the little extras which make life easier. It was especially great to have a small but fully functional kitchen so that proper meals could be cooked for us and two teenage boys. A little challenging at times with only one bathroom, but definitely not a big issue. The local area is beautiful, with good parks close by and lovely streets to walk around and see how the locals live. Selection of local shops and cafes was excellent, especially as we were staying over the Easter weekend, but we could get a good coffee or pick up items every day within a 5 minute walk. Public transport was close and accessible and driving around the area was easily navigated. 20 minute drive to the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre/Westfield Marion, just add 10 minutes at peak times, and only 15 minutes to the airport. Good value for money.

The apartment was small but very well equipped. Scrupulously clean & full of little extras which all experienced travellers will appreciate. Next time in Adelaide we'll be back.

Well suited for our family of four, with two children (7 and 3) - the park and playground at Orphanage Park is in easy reach for when little legs need a run and play.

Comfortable bed and couches, lovely outside eating areas, close to great shopping , washing machine and clothes line and two parking spots. A winner in all aspects.
