Located in a quiet neighbourhood between the city, white sandy beaches and the historic port area. Semaphore road is alive and full of popular cafes, pubs, charming retail shops and an art deco cinema. Waterside heritage and location advice on unspoilt and secluded beach flat and firm runs, hiring free bikes, long walks along the beach or the landscaped foreshore. On the waterfront you can take a ride on the miniature steam train or just feel the sandy Semaphore beach between your toes and take in some fresh sea air.
The Port area has historic colonial buildings and the old docks; they offer self-guided and guided tours. If you have time after that you can visit the Railway Museum, Aviation Museum, Maritime Museum, Lighthouse and Waterfront. In the evening take a boat cruise and you may see a Pod of Dolphin’s that live in the Port.
4 minutes walk to supermarket, ATM, Post Office, chemist, fish/chips, gourmet pizza and train.
