Description

Our 2 storey townhouse is in a quiet & leafy area - 5km out of the city. It's located halfway between the city & Glenelg Beach easily accessible by tram. Other public transport, The farmer’s market, cute cafes, a bakery & an amazing Indian restaurant are a short stroll away. This space includes an undercover car park, fully equipped kitchen & a private back patio. Nearby is a playground/park too. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families with kids

please note there is no ladder but it is easy for anyone age 7-50 to get up and down via the bottom

. PLEASE NOTE: this townhouse can sleep up to 7 people, but please take into consideration there is 1 full bathroom upstairs and just a second toilet downstairs. Please keep in mind the bedding configurations and the close proximity your group with be in with each other as it is not a large apartment.

We live less than 10 mins away so be reassured that if you require help or if you have any questions, advice about things to do, contacts in Adelaide, or help in an emergency situation, we will be there. We love to meet our guests but we also respect your privacy if you don’t require any assistance.

Any items that you may require during your stay please let us know and if we can make arrangements to have these available for you we will do our very best. Eg, if you need pedestal fans, extra blankets, towels - be sure to ask and we will do our best :

The flat is situated in a residential area and is in proximity to neighbours so please be aware of noise level and respect neighbours. This house is not suitable for parties. Outside guests and pets are not permitted. Noise should be kept to a minimum after 9pm.

- Smoking and open flames/burning of candles are not permitted.

- Please ensure bins are emptied at the end of the stay, lights are switched off and keys are left on

the kitchen bench.

- Sustainable use of water and energy are greatly appreciated.

- Consumables that are available in the house for guest use eg. tissues, hand soap, cleaning

products, other pantry supplies, toilet paper are to be replenished by guest if you require more

during your stay.

- Linen is provided.

- The unit should be left neat and tidy at the end of your stay. If not left in a good condition a loss of

bond payment for extra cleaning fee will be charged.

A short 5 min drive away there are an array of cafes, restaurants, wine bars and shops on trendy King William Rd and Unley Rd, and funky shops, wine bar, Izakaya Japanese bar and cafes on Goodwood Road, including an incredible dessert cafe and the heritage cinema, Capri theatre complete with a rare Wurlitzer organ the largest theatre organ in the southern hemisphere.

Getting around is super easy Public transport is a very short walk away. There is also a bike path nearby that cuts through suburbia and into the city.

Showgrounds in Wayville - less than 5 mins drive away

Glenelg Beach and surrounds - 12 mins away

Ashford Hospital - less than 4 mins away

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT! Everything was here when we arrived. From chocolates on each bed to 1liter of fresh milk in the fridge. Also excellent communication at all times with our host Michelle. The boys especially liked the range of movies on offer in their down time. Could not rate this place high enough. Awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Location We had a great stay in Adelaide and enjoyed our down time in the house. All aspects of the house were great - especially the kitchen and bathroom. On arrival it was lovely to walk into the clean, spacious home, especially after our long drive. The location was great to access the city, beach and hills, with public transport close by on the occasion we used it to go to the city. Thanks for a great stay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and comfortable The apartment is in a quiet, leafy street as promised and is only 10-15 minutes from the airport and the CBD. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchenette has everything you need for simple cooking and the owner very generously supplies a range of teas, chocolates and cereals in addition to the standard tea coffee and sugar. The renovated bathroom is up to date, clean and has a good shower. The master bedroom is spacious and has modern decor. It has been a cold start to winter so we were also provided with some extra snuggly blankets and hot water bottles! A generous touch that made us feel very welcome. There are 3 heaters and we only needed to use 2 to quickly warm up when we returned from our excursions. There is a good sized television and a DVD player, and a selection of DVDs and books, perfect for winter nights. We would definitely return to this apartment - much prefer it to a hotel room - and recommend it heartily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet, perfect location The house was so quiet and so clean. The location is a perfect compromise between access to the city and access to the beach. I hope to stay here the next time I am in Adelaide.
