Located in a quiet lane way in the Adelaide CBD the home is suitable for both business and leisure. It is within walking distance to the central business district and all of the city's attractions. The Adelaide central markets and shopping district are close by. Adelaide events such as the Tour Down Under, WOMAdelaide & the Adelaide Fringe and Festival venues are within walking distance or easily accessible via the free tram. The tram stop is a short walk from the house and connects Adelaide to Glenelg beach. The tram also provides free transport to the city train station, Adelaide Oval, the Casino and the Entertainment Centre.
The home is perfect for both couples and families. There are two living areas both with flat screen TVs and reliable wifi internet. There is a google chromecast for streaming all of your apps and a DVD, CD and media player for entertainment.
The main bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. The double glazed window ensures a good night's sleep. The front living area has a sofa bed which converts to a double bed. Quality Sheridan linen and towels are provided. For those travelling with young children there is room for a cot. Not provided.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with oven, gas hot plates, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and all the necessary cooking and dining equipment.
The bathroom comprises of a shower, toilet and a washer / dryer. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided.
The covered outdoor decking area has a large table with 8 chairs and is perfect for entertaining and enjoying a glass of Barossa wine on a balmy evening.
The study is located at the sunny rear of the home with a desk and double sofa bed. Perfect for students or those on business trips. The sofa bed allows the study to be converted into an extra bedroom.
The home has reverse cycle ducted heating and cooling in all rooms making it comfortable all year round.
At the rear of the property you will find the communal garden where you can relax in the sunshine or help yourself to organically grown vegetables and herbs.
There is no off street parking at the cottage however a parking permit issued by the Adelaide City Council with conditions is available for an extra fee of $10 per day. Long stay discounts applicable.
The Adelaide Central Market and Coles Supermarket are 500m from the house. On Gouger Street and in the surrounding neighbourhood you will find many restaurants and bars.
The home is situated 10 minutes from the airport by car or taxi.
