Description

Located only 10 minutes from Adelaide airport along the beautiful Adelaide coastline, this stylish Asian beachside themed apartment with ocean and marina views is perfect for two couples or a family of 4, and features 2 bedrooms both with comfortable queen size beds - with the second bedroom able to be split into 2 single beds if required, 2 bathrooms 1 ensuite; and a living space designed so you feel relaxed from the moment you walk in the door

The apartment includes a fully equipped modern kitchen, along with a leather lounge, large screen television offering Foxtel Entertainment & Sport, Apple TV with Netflix and Free to Air channels, reverse cycle air-conditioning, complimentary unlimited WIFI, small library, coffee machine beans provided, double drawer dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. We also provide a 'starter pack' including bread, milk, butter and jam. The pantry has hot chocolate, sugar and a selection of tea available for guests. We also supply toilet paper, tissues and body wash.

Just a short walk will see you on the doorstep of a wide selection of restaurants, bars, parks and, of course, the beautiful Glenelg beach. There is also a tram that will take you right into the heart of the Adelaide CBD should you be looking to explore further or take in all that this fabulous city has to offer.

Located in a secure complex, with access to a lap pool, spa, sauna and gym; the apartment also includes 1 carpark space with a second carpark available at no charge upon request and a large balcony with a BBQ, table, chairs and a daybed – perfect for chilling out after a day out exploring.

We have a strict policy of a maximum of 4 guests at any time. The master bedroom is larger than the second bedroom and includes a large ensuite with bath and television free to air only. The second bedroom uses the second smaller bathroom accessed via the hallway.

Please also note a $500 security deposit is required at the time of booking. This security deposit will be returned to you provided the apartment is left undamaged and in the same condition it was handed over to you.

The apartment has a strict no smoking policy in all areas including the balcony and a no party policy. The host reserves the right to evict you immediately without refund of any monies including the security deposit if either of these conditions or the house rules of the complex are breached.

There is a minimum stay of 3 nights. Rates vary depending on the time of year. The period 23 December to 2 January requires a minimum stay of 7 nights.

Cleaning is not included for stays of 7 nights or less. Stays of 8 nights or more qualify for a weekly clean including a full linen change at no additional cost. Cleaning including a full linen change can be arranged for stays of less than 7 nights at a cost of $150.

The Neighbourhood

Glenelg has something for everyone and it's popular; especially in summer when you will find the beaches filled with sun worshippers, families armed with buckets and spades, beach volleyball competitions and those just looking to chill out with a glass of wine watching the sun go down over the Gulf of St Vincent.

It's one of the starting points for the Australian 'Tour Down Under', a 40 minute tram ride away from the CBD; and a great meeting place for coffee with friends, lunch with the family or a beer with the boys watching the footy

If you love open space, you'll have lots of options to set up a picnic or cook up a BBQ. The kids will love The Beachouse's waterslides, bumper boats and arcade games; playing in the sand, hitting the playground at Wigley Reserve, or rolling down the Colley Reserve hill. As alcohol free zones, these parks are great places to bring the family for a day out.

Dining options are plentiful; from pubs to restaurants and cafes, you will find lots to savour. Just about every cuisine is on show, but our personal favourites would have to be fresh oysters from The Oyster Bar, the award winning pasties at the Orange Spot bakery, beautiful Japanese food at Yakumi on Jetty Road; or a lamb yiros from Souvlaki Bros in Moseley Square. Delicious

There's a lot of history too; take a walk along the Glenelg jetty, constructed twice since 1859 having suffered demolition at the hands of fire and mother nature. The most recent construction in 1969 has so far stood the test of time and you'll see many people fishing or just enjoying a beautiful day walking out with an icecream. Head around to Wigley Reserve where a replica of the HMS Buffalo captained by Governor John Hindmarsh still stands. It's about to undergo a transformation with a local developer looking to create a dining space right next to this iconic piece of history. It's here you'll also find 'The Old Gum Tree' where Governor Hindmarsh proclaimed South Australia in December 1836.

Take a leisurely walk around the Patawalonga Lake where you just may see the dolphins swimming about, then head to the Marina and enjoy a fabulous coffee at Veloce Paninoteca whilst watching the boats making their way in and out. Lunch at one of the many cafes found along, or in the little side streets off, Jetty Road. Finish the day with a cold beer at the Sunset Bar in the Marina or perhaps some oysters and bottle of wine at The Oyster Bar. Dinner - well what takes your fancy. There are lots of options along the Marina, Jetty Road and in Moseley Square too. Whatever you're leaning towards, you'll find something to please. Little hint, if you're up for a walk, or have a car, check out Kefi Greek restaurant along Tapleys Hill Road - a feast for the senses

House Rules

Liberty Towers Glenelg is a mixed residential/hotel complex and, as such, house rules apply to all guests.

Noise is to be kept to a minimum and there is a strict no party policy in the apartment. Wilful damage to the apartment or any areas of the Liberty Towers complex will not be tolerated. Neither will physical or verbal assault on the host, other guests and/or residents of the complex; or any illegal activity. Objects of any kind are not to be thrown over the balcony and spitting over the balcony is prohibited. The host reserves the right to evict you immediately without refund of any monies including the security deposit if any of these rules are breached.

Common areas including the gym, spa, pool, sauna, hallways, foyers, carparks are for the use and enjoyment of all guests. Please respect other guests and residents by ensuring that noise is kept to a minimum and alcohol is not consumed in these areas.

The apartment has a strict no smoking policy in all areas including the balcony. The host reserves the right to evict you immediately without refund of any monies including the security deposit if this rule is breached.

A $500 security bond is required at the time of booking. This security deposit will be managed by Stayz and returned to you provided the apartment is left undamaged, with all equipment in proper working order and in the same condition it was handed over to you.

The apartment comes with 2 sets of keys and fobs to allow access to the building, your floor, the pool, gym, spa, sauna, and the secure parking. If you do not return both sets of keys and fobs to the host upon checking out, you will forfeit the security deposit in full to enable locks to be changed and fobs to be replaced.

Check in is from 2pm and check out is at 10.00am. The host will be available between the hours of 7.00am and 9.00pm for any questions you may have. Unless it is an emergency, calls before or after this time are not permitted.

Parking is only in the designated parking space as advised by the host.

Utilities are included in the hire rate, however you must ensure that taps, airconditioning, lights, gas cooktop, gas bottle to the BBQ and televisions are turned off whenever you are not in the apartment.

Guests must ensure that the balcony and apartment entrance doors are locked upon exiting the apartment.

Guests must ensure that children are fully supervised at all times whenever they on the apartment balcony, or in any of the common areas including the pool, gym, sauna, spa.

Pets are not permitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent property in fabulous location We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed apartment in fabulous Glenelg. Luxury all the way with everything you could possibly need and more provided. Beach at the front door. Restaurants offering everything from casual to fine dining with in walking distance. Also in close proximity to public transport including the tram.. Highly recommended and will return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing place! 10/10 We had an amazing time staying here as a group of 4 girls. The apartment was immaculate, had all the mod cons and provided everything we needed for a fun weekend. The location was perfect (close to plenty of shops and restaurants) plus the view from the balcony was great. Suz was an amazing owner who made us feel so welcome. The worst part was having to leave, however we will certainly be back!!
