Description

This house is perfect for long term stays, whether you are in Adelaide purely for a holiday, visiting the University, on a work contract, looking to migrate to South Australia, a home for during your own house renovation, visiting friends and family or wanting to bring your pets away with you.

Built in 1998, the house has lots of storage robes in each room and walk in robe, has undergone a recent renovation in 2017 with brand new carpets, lighting, blinds and paint, and suits a modern lifestyle.

This house is fully equipped for you to enjoy your stay. There is a spacious kitchen and dining area with new dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, fridge and rice cooker. Main bedroom features queen sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space and walk in robe with direct access to the 2 way bathroom. The bathroom has separate toilet, full sized bathtub and shower. The second bedroom has a writing desk and queen bed or 2 singles depending on your needs. All beds are super comfortable. You'll love the rose garden and outdoor patio. Reverse cycle air conditioning will keep you comfortable. Portable cot and high chair are available on request.

Breakfast provisions are provided to start your stay - cereal options, seasonal fruit subject to availability, milk, tea making facilities and coffee machine.

Long term bookings are welcomed. Bookings over 3 months can be arranged as a fixed term lease through the SA Tenancies Act.

There is 1 garage space and enough room for another 2-3 off street carparks. Small, well behaved pets are negotiable.

Guest access

The booking is for up to 2 guests staying in one room. Extra guests/rooms can be used at small extra fee for bed and linen. The brand new 3 seater sofa converts into a large double sized bed to accommodate up to 6 guests and futon or floor mattress if larger groups need to be accommodated.

Interaction with guests

You'll have the reassurance that we are close by to help if you have any questions, advice about things to do, contacts in Adelaide, or help in an emergency situation.

We have been hosting for over a year with fantastic reviews and repeat guests at our other listing, The Hunting Lodge Clarence Park.

Check in time can be flexible as we can leave the key in a locked box for you if necessary. We love to meet our guests but we also respect your privacy if you don't require any assistance.

The unit is self-catering and equipped with spare linen and all cleaning equipment to use as needed. If you do require the apartment to be serviced, I have a cleaner who is available for an additional charge.

The neighbourhood

Tranmere has been one of Adelaide's most popular suburbs for over a decade and is located in one of Adelaide's best school zones. There are many young professionals and families in this neighbourhood.

What you'll find here:

- local shopping centre with large supermarket open midnight to 9pm on weekdays and varying hours on weekends is 1km 12 mins walk away

- Bus stop is only a few minutes walk away

- Great local experiences - lots of Italian continental stores including great fresh pasta stores and Italian bakeries, Gelato Bello gelataria, and South Australian Iconic Fruchocs chocolate factory all within walking distance/short drive

- 5 minutes drive to The Parade Norwood for cafe lifestyle and boutique shopping

- 10-15 minutes drive to the city and East End of Adelaide where our Adelaide Fringe festival happens every March

- close to many scenic hiking paths - Morialta and Waterfall Gully

- 4 minutes drive to the University of South Australia Magill campus and swimming pool

Getting around

Tranmere is located 30minutes drive from Adelaide Airport.

The house is located about 3 minutes walk from the H33 bus route that takes you through the city centre, and through to Henley Beach. It is also within 10 minutes walk of the H30 bus route that will take you through the city and on to West Lakes or East to Norwood Morialta High School .

Other things to note

Please note that a gardener may arrive at a set time each fortnight to maintain the lawns.

Your booking fee covers all utility bills electricity, water, internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Property 1. The house was in amazing condition, considering that someone was in the house in the morning. 2. The beds were comfortable and clean. 3. Wonderful facilities. 4. Deanne was respectful of our space but she was easy to be in contact with when I was not sure about something. 5. Shops are very close and convenient to access by public transport. I thoroughly recommend this beautiful home.

Deanne very helpful and sociable. Handy having breakfast cereals, milk and fruit on arrival. Very good amenities and couldn't ask for much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended Couldn't wish for better hosts. Very comfortable master bed. Nicely renovated property. Excellent for a holiday or long term let. Walking distance to food outlets and supermarket. You can even bring your pet with you which is rare to find in Adelaide!
