This is an ideal base while in the Barossa and is close to other regions. There is a two night minimum stay with
bookings beyond 3 days attracting seriously discounted rates .. room rate only, no housekeeping during stay. Happy to discuss other options, additional provisions or any housekeeping can be provided at cost during your stay.
With sole occupancy of this unique cottage and gardens, the peaceful and tranquil setting will help you relax and unwind - listen to the sounds of nature.,
This is a true bed and breakfast, with continental breakfast provisions, plus one lot of cooked breakfast provs, teas, coffees and other treats. Wine, port and sherry together with chocs provided. Note: Beyond 3 days .. self catering. While ideally suited to a couple the cottage will accommodate four at a squeeze. The 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds is accessed from the front veranda - a cosy retreat for teenagers. If two bedrooms required for two singles...a small surcharge applies.
You can enjoy the Barossa products in the large rustic garden, or in the cellar/bakehouse which in times past was the "The North Para Bakery".
The deep antique claw foot bath resurrected from the garden is just the place to soak up the surroundings and to relax and unwind at the end of the day, - bath bubbles, candles, bath robes provided.
There is a wide range of literature including many books on the Barossa and the early pioneer families. As many of guests have commented - "a memorable stay". Come and try for yourself. See you soon
PETS: There are limitations as the property is not fully fenced. Pets are not permitted in lounge or bedroom areas and any damage or additional cleaning will be charged. Contact must be made with proprietor with details on type and size of pet prior to confirmation of a booking
If two singles travelling together and require second bedroom a small surcharge applies except for stays beyond three days.
Open Fire - available May - September with initial supply of firewood. Additional available at a small charge.
TREATS AND SURPRISES.
Make your stay extra special with some added treats and surprises. For example a Barossa Tasting Platter - small or large, a special gift or flowers - all can be arranged and charged at cost.
