We are not a self-contained cottage.
Instead we offer a traditional English style hosted bed and breakfast where you are a guest in our home.
We offer the unique experience of staying and dinning with friendly locals who take pride in sharing their home and making your experience memorable. Definitely distinctive from the run-of-the mill bed and breakfast accommodation on offer.
Our 44 acre property includes a 10 acre vineyard and a 20 acre natural bush reserve. From the top of the reserve, which has been set aside for native animals, birds and flora, there are fabulous views of the valley to photograph. For those more energetic, enjoying walking or bike riding, the famous Riesling Trail passes through our property a mere 50 metres from our back door.
Being local we have a wealth of local knowledge that we are happy to share and help guests get the most out of their stay.
For those after ‘must have’ extras at a reasonable price guests have a choice of:
- a delicious homemade picnic
- experiencing home-made dinners, inside or alfresco eg pizza or a barbeque
- a glass of bubbles and canapés watching the sunset
- bikes for hire just in case you decide to ride instead of drive to the wineries
Please contact us to price one or all of the above.
As dog owners we know how hard it is to leave your dear canine family member at home so why not bring your dog along for the fun. We have an enclosed yard to keep your dog safe and provide bedding if needed.
