In winter this house has the most wonderful OPEN FIRE which fills the room with heat like no other and in summer the wonderful deck has a BBQ and outdoor setting, so you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets every night.

This home is a one hour drive from Adelaide and you feel like you are in the country but are at one of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches in South Australia. This house has a fully fenced in yard for dogs, and the staircase has a gate with a lock to keep your small children safe.
Please note, ALL ADULTS MUST BE 28 YEARS OR MORE TO RENT THIS HOME, verification must be shown and all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This home has all modern facilities including split system R/C air conditioner upstairs with 2 hour timer, dishwasher, separate freezer, microwave, 2 fridges, electric oven, 4 Burner Gas BBQ ,2 gas bottles are supplied but we have found that in the busy Christmas period these both tend to run out having back to back tenants. To compensate for this we have a jar on the fridge and each time you use the BBQ $2.50 is put in the jar. If a bottle does run out during your stay please use the money and swap the gas bottle at the service station, Mitre 10 or the supermarket, Ipod docking station/CD player, 2 HD televisions, 2 bedrooms both with Queen Beds both fitted with electric blankets and one with a baby cot, downstairs TV room with 3 bunk beds 6 single beds and a pull out trundle bed.
For long weekends, it is a minimum 3 nights rental, however, you are entitled to a late check out on the Monday being 5pm instead of the normal 10am checkout.
There are shops both in Normanville and Yankalilla, which are the closest towns to Carrickalinga, only 4km drive or a lovely walk, with a paved path. There is a Mitre 10, Chemist, Foodland, Bakery, Pub and lots of take away food shops, plus more, to cover all your needs. There are a few local wineries, which are always a pleasure to visit and 3 and a half golf courses within 10 minutes drive. If you love fishing, I have caught, sand whiting, salmon, mullet, tommies and flathead from the beach and also a short drive away is Second Valley, which is a great spot for squidding.
