One of the most ancient of construction methods, rammed earth or "pise" creates homes with wonderful ambience and The Sanctuary is no exception. The minute you step inside you will be struck by the relaxing nature of the house. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit and unwind along with a well-stocked movie and book library. Step outside into the rambling garden and spend time exploring its many hidden gems. Depending on the time of year you may come across a range of fruit and wild herbs.
Kangaroos and a wide range of birds are regular visitors to the grounds. The property has gorgeous rural and ocean views across to Kangaroo Island. The wrap-around verandahs provide ample places for a sheltered outdoor barbecue and evening meal.
