Encounter Bay is a quiet location, with a sheltered beach that is great for young ones, often with shallow warm water. With wonderful walking tracks, and only a short trip to Victor Harbor, you can truly relax and take in seaside living.
The house will sleep 10 persons. There are two bathrooms and three toilets plus an outdoor shower. The house has a front balcony with spectacular views overlooking the bay. The balcony is equipped with a BBQ and seating for 8 persons.
The master bedroom upstairs is spacious with a queen bed, walk in robe and ensuite.
Four bedrooms are located downstairs one with a queen bed, two with a pair of single beds and one with bunk beds.
The upstairs living area is delightfully decorated and also overlooks the bay. It has a large screen LCD TV, Stereo and Blu Ray/DVD player. The dining table will seat 10 people.
The downstairs living area is equipped with large screen LCD TV and Blu Ray/DVD player. There is also an area for children equipped with bean bags, large table and games.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher that is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and all cooking utensils. A Nespresso coffee machine is available, so bring your favourite coffee pods.
The laundry is equipped with a washer and a clothes line is located in the back yard.
The property is equipped with NBN WiFi.
A child safety gate is available for the stairs, please let me know if you would like it installed for your stay.
Parking is available for 3-4 vehicles on the property.
Quilts/covers, pillows and tea towels are provided - other linen, sheets, towels and pillow cases, are not included in the rental of this property, they can be supplied through Victor Linen Service Online for $20-$25 per bed.
Additional cleaning fee of $80 is required at time of booking.
Non refundable deposit of 20 percent of the booking fee required at time of booking to reserve booking. If you cancel and the property is re-let for the period of your booking then only a $50 cancellation fee will apply.

Please be aware that you are in a quiet residential area and consider that nearby families have children and may have work the next day, it is requested that music not be played after 10:00pm and that conversations on the balcony be of a nature that will not offend or annoy neighbours.
With plenty to do nearby, you can make the short trip into Victor Harbor and visit Granite Island and take a ride on the horse drawn tram. You can take a step back in time and ride the Cockle Train to Goolwa or Port Elliot. During summer a small carnival is located on the foreshore to keep the kids entertained. Take an educational approach and take one of the guided tours, or visit the Whale Center and learn about the history of the town and the wildlife that call it home.
There is a Wildlife Park with kangaroos and koalas at the entrance to Victor Harbor.
Encounter Bay is well known for snorkeling and scuba diving, with a large reef system that runs along the bay it makes for a fascinating dive. For those into scuba The Bluff is a popular destination, with visits from sea lions, dolphins and sea horses. During the winter months, whales migrate along the coast, and can often be spotted.
For those into fishing, there is a large boat ramp on Franklin Parade, a popular destination and heavily used for tuna fishing from December into late summer.
There are three quality golf courses located within a short distance.
For the energetic, The Bluff makes a wonderful climb, as does Granite Island, and the views of the sunrise/sunset are amazing and tranquil. The Heysen trial passes through Encounter bay, why not make a day of it and hike from Kent Reserve to Kings Head and back.
