The open plan living area upstairs opens up onto a large balcony that sheltered from the prevailing winds and is equipped with a large gas BBQ and table setting for 10. Sit back and enjoy the idyllic views over countryside Port Elliot and listen to the soft sounds of the ocean.

There is plenty of room for the kids and big kids to hang out downstairs in the games room where there is a large screen TV, beanbags and guitar. The games room also leads into the garage where the is a ping-pong table for hours of fun.

This fully fenced property is situated on a quiet street, has 4 car parks, boat parking, double garage complete with a short board, learners board and several boogies boards to be enjoyed and carried down to the beach which is patrolled by Chiton Rocks SLSC. The club welcomes the public to pop in on Saturday and Sundays to their clubrooms for a casual drink and a friendly chat, a perfect way to wind down a great day at the beach.

There is a fabulous bike and walking track near Castaway, which takes you past stunning surf beaches, bays, and wetlands right down to Port Elliot. Its an easy ride and the views are spectacular So we have left you a brand new ladies vintage bike with basket to use and enjoy.

During January the area is abuzz with art shows, food & wine festivals, country markets and the stage 4 of the Tour Down under. The month of April hosts the Mt Alma Car Trails and Encounter Celebrations, then in May the Whale Time Festival is held which heralds in the whale watching season. The migratory patterns of the Southern Right Whale are predictable, returning to the sheltered warm waters to mate or give birth to their young each year and one of the best places to view this is off Chiton Rocks and the Bluff where here they can be spotted 100m off Shore.

The area is part of the Fleuriou Peninsula which is renowned for award winning food & wine regions, world class golf courses, Australian wildlife and sanctuaries and some of the best beaches in Australia .
