RELAX - SUMMER OR WINTER
Sandrift is set up for a relaxing family holiday, Summer or Winter. It is a 3 bedroom house with open plan living/dining/ kitchen area. Plus separate TV / Living room. The games room is outside in the shed. A reverse cycle air conditioner warms or cools the house. All rooms have fans and heaters are available in all bedrooms. In front the lawn and paving offer a lovely sheltered area away from the wind, there is plenty of space for outdoor dining, reading or soaking up the sun in a deckchair.

10 minute cycle from Sandrift to Middleton Station for the Cockle Train - Cycle/Ride Goolwa to Victor Harbor
TV room with TV and DVD player and a second TV/DVD player in the main bedroom.
Watch a DVD from our selection. Both TVs have facility for USB connection if you want to bring a hard drive/computer with your movies on it.
Play the board games, kick back and relax in the private garden with a book or magazine.
Enjoy the games room with pool table and table tennis table: great fun for the whole family. There is a garage with room for your car as well as your pushbikes, beach gear etc.
The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, plenty of pots and utensils, crockery and cutlery, picnic plates, etc and all the usual appliances plus a dishwasher.
An 8 setting outdoor table and chairs can be used in the shelter of the garage or moved outside. A 4 burner gas BBQ is available for your use.
We have a high chair, large baby bath, travel cot with mattress, low level pull out trundle bed with foam mattress in main bedroom. Some children's books, plenty of board games and puzzles, and dvds. Table-tennis table and pool table.
The laundry has a washing machine, deep sink, second shower and separate toilet. Dryer is in the garage.

BEACH AND SURFING
We are only a short walk from the wonderful Middleton Beach for beach walks, swimming and surfing: there are various learn-to-surf classes a short walk away.
Stroll down to a children playground.
Southern Right Whales and Humpback Whales pass through the waters along the south coast of South Australia and can be seen from the beach and headlands near Sandrift. There are also many spots along the Encounter Bikeway that offer good whale watching in season. Contact the South Australian Whale Watching Centre in Victor Harbor for more information. Season is May to October.
The bike riding is fantastic and great for all ages along the Encounter Bikeway. This runs along the coast from Victor Harbour to Goolwa. It is well sign posted and on dedicated bikeways for a lot of the journey.

You can catch the Cockle train from Middleton into Port Elliot or Victor Harbour, or east to Goolwa . You can take bikes on the train so you can ride one way catch the train home. 10 minute cycle from Sandrift to Middleton Station for the Cockle Train.
Runs Wednesdays and Sundays and every day in School holidays.

There are many great bakeries and restaurants with in easy reach so if you don't want to cook you won't go hungry.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A deposit is needed when booking to hold your place and full payment needs to be made 2 weeks prior to arrival. There is a bond payable on top of the rent payment.
If booking is made at the last minute i.e. less than two weeks, payment needs to be made in full at the time of booking.
Sorry the property isn't fenced and is not suitable for pets.
