Our neighbourhood is quiet & friendly & close to the Esplanade which leads north to Port Willunga beach and south to the boat ramp at Aldinga Beach.
Aldinga Central Shopping Centre is a few minutes' drive and has everything you need. The new local library is brilliant on a rainy day or anytime. The Aldinga Village hosts the Fridays After Five markets & are not to be missed, featuring local produce, music, wine, food trucks and collectibles in a magical, twilight environment, with a secure managed play area for the kids. You'll also find the iconic Miss Gladys on Sea fashion emporium, a great bakery, organic grocer, fish & chips and wine bar in the local Village. Lots of nearby bike tracks along the coast and through the wineries. Kayaks are available for hire at Lou's Shack- check out the Star of Greece wreck.
Willunga Farmers' Market is a must on a Saturday morning and is a short 10 minute drive. Visit the McLaren Vale wine region and Fleurieu Peninsular with their world class wineries, restaurants and markets.The Nan Hai Pu Tuo temple is worth the 20 minute drive south to Sellicks Hill to see the huge Buddhist sculpture overlooking the coast all the way back to Adelaide. Stop at the Victory Hotel on your way - excellent food and views and an underground, extensive wine cellar which is worth stopping just for a look. Aldinga Conservation Park is close too where you may catch a glimpse of the local kangaroos.
To travel to Port Willunga from Adelaide Airport, it's an easy drive, 45 mins down the coast road or on the Southern Expressway from the city of Adelaide.
Adelaide Metro bus stop 110 is a few minutes' walk from our front door and will take you straight to the train station at Seaford, then direct to Adelaide Central Railway Station in about an hour.
Easy walking around the neighbourhood - less than 10 minutes to the beach via the Esplanade on the cliff-tops.
Cycling tracks along the Esplanade to enjoy the great coastal views.
