Spacious and versatile enough for a full sized family to spread out and relax or for a couple looking for a private retreat away.

Attractions and Activities in Coober Pedy

Coober Pedy has a rich heritage of Opal Mining encompassing the sesilience of the Australian spirit of struggle and reward.

As long time locals the owners can direct you, book a tour or show you the best spots to head out and go "noodling" for your own piece of opal.

Head into the town and explore, dine underground, take a tour of the underground museum or the famous Breakaways Ranges, have a hit of night golf or share a game of pool with a local. There is so much to see and do.

Take the family out to the recently upgraded state of the art Drive In one of two remaining in South Australia.

Enquire at check in for the inside knowledge to one of Australia's most unique towns.

Layout of B&B

The property has three sections.

The first is suitable for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. Featuring a Queen size bed, a walk in robe, en'suite and a large lounge and dining room. Each area has their own BBQ area that is set amongst the cactus garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful genuine Coober Pedy underground B&B We loved our time at JAM B&B. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night because of our schedule, but the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful and left everything you need for a great breakfast and even a bottle of wine to help the evening along. We're definitely going to be back. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Accomodation Fantastic secure location just close enough to enjoy all Coober Pedy has to offer with a long walk or a short drive. Spacious rooms and living areas with great outdoor areas too. Julie & Markus very hospitable, friendly and happy to assist with local knowledge and tips. Some undercover parking available. Tom's mine tours across the road was one of the best mine tours I've ever been on. My kids loved the resident pets (Scratchy the cat and Minty the dog) and a pancake shaker for each of the kids was a hit with breakfast too.
