Kingscote is main town on the island, accessable by ferry and bus or plane. All 4WD and bus tours will pick up and deliver to our door.
Kingscote has restaurants, seafood suppliers, gallery, mueseum, pubs, cafes, banks, post offices, souveniours, penguin tours, gym, beauty therapy and doctors. Everything you need within a minutes walk! Centrally located on the island Kingscote is a good base to do all your island touring from.
The stone Guesthouse was built in 1927 by Flo Ellson. It was the first Guesthouse in Kingscote and has front position on our seafront block. Old world charm has been preserved!
High ceilings and thick stone walls keep this building cool during the summer months and there is always a lovely sea breeze of the water to enjoy through opening windows.

Each private bedroom has it's own hand basin and vanity area as well as everything (and more!) you would expect in a normal motel room.
The bathrooms are a shared facility, male and female separate of course with 2 showers and 2 toilets in each bathroom. Bath also in female bathroom.
There are only 4 bedrooms in the Guesthouse so there is not a lot of other guests to share with. If you stay outside holiday periods you might even have the place to yourself!
