Here is your chance to stay in one of Penneshaw’s perfectly situated beach homes. After years off the rental market, Whynunga is finally available as a holiday home once again. With extensive renovations set to take place in 2018, this holiday home has a casual retro charm, vintage pieces and modern soft furnishings that bring this holiday home into the 21st Century. Featuring stunning views over Hog Bay, Penneshaw Beach and Frenchman’s Rock from the privacy of the second level, this really is a case of ‘location, location, location’.
Sleeping up to 6 people, we welcome you to be some of the last guests to enjoy Whynunga before it is overhauled into a 14 sleeper. This holiday home features 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is situated at the front of the property, holds a double bed and captures the most stunning views. The second bedroom is at the rear of the property and holds two single beds and two single mattresses that can be used to sleep an additional two guests in either bedroom or the lounge. A porta cot and highchair make it easy to bring your young ones and saves you bringing extra gear.
The open plan living room, kitchen and meals area all overlook the amazing views. The kitchen is clean, fully equipped and has been stocked by a family who are well experienced in holidaying in self-contained holiday homes in Penneshaw. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom is clean and includes a washing machine and washtub. Our favourite part of the house is the veranda where you can sit comfortably at the outdoor setting and watch the ferry roll in, the kids on the beach or the waves hitting off the rocks.
Penneshaw is a truly stunning part of South Australia with all the facilities you need while on a relaxing holiday. There is no need to bring your car as the Sealink Office, ferry terminal, car rentals services, grocery store, pub, bottle’o, cafes and takeaways are only a 10 minute walk away.
Go fishing off the newly restored jetty, straight off beach or for the more adventurous, off the rocks. Whynunga is situated just across from the stairs that take you to the beach where you can spend the day watching the waves of the crystal clear water and quite often dolphins playing close to shore.
Abundant wild life makes Penneshaw an amazing place, with resident fairy penguins, wallabies and a range of different birdlife.
Conservation walking trails take you to the most stunning lookouts.
A walk into the main township brings you to tennis courts, mini golf and a golf course.
A drive out of Penneshaw takes you to some of the best wineries South Australia has to offer, or take a wine tour straight from Penneshaw.
