**** Star accommodation
We were very pleased with the accommodation which was an excellent base for exploring the western end of the island. A lovely peaceful location. Very spacious and well equipped. We wish we had more time there! Great that the owners helped with directions. It was fun feeding the wallabies in the evenings.
Thanks for a great stay. We loved the wallabies!!

Great place peaceful. Lots of wildlife you don’t see anywhere else in Australia. Comfortable
clean house. We will be back with the family
Very peaceful setting beautifully presented. had everything that you would need. Make sure you purchased food supplies in Kingscote rather than leaving til the Vivonne bay store an excellent venue for a relaxing vacation central to all island highlights.
It was a wonderful experience. Top value for accommodation and service we will return Thankyou.
Hi - thank you for replying so quickly you have put my mind at rest knowing that our holiday in your accommodation is secure for next year. Once again thank you so very much for making our accommodation so perfect - I have stayed in a quite a few holiday lets over the years and yours easily knocks the socks off them all. Your attention to detail with regard to home comforts is excellent - next year I won't have to overload the car with extra kitchen bits and bobs because they are already there ( and I can tell you we are always overloaded with kitchen stuff as Steven is a Chef and likes to have enough pans and knives....).
Thanks ever so much.
Tour Operators have highly praised the quality of accommodation, of Island Dream.
Had an excellent stay at Island Dream - was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well equipped the place is... the kitchen has practically everything you need for cooking and BBQ, including cooking oil and spices. Loved the little touches the owner has put in, like the tea & coffee, local attractions guide, personal collection of music CDs, etc. Gives the place a very personal touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend "Island Dream Escape" to anyone planning a trip to Kangaroo Island! Oh, and did I mention that Vivonne Bay is undoubtedly a beauty compared to other beaches on the island!

Our trip to Kangaroo Island by Siggi
On New years day I left with my newly wedded husband and my family from Germany (five adults and 2 children) for our "family honeymoon" to Kangaroo Island.
It has been my dream since I first came to the island many years ago to actually stay for a whole week on Kangaroo Island to be able to fully enjoy not just the typical highlights but also to explore of the beautiful coastline , spend time on the beach and enjoy the nature and wildlife.
We stayed at Vivonne Bay on the western side of the island in a couple of beautifully furnished and well equipped modern houses
( ISLAND DREAM ESCAPE ) which provided us with all the comforts of home.
The view from our house was into the beautiful green bush and after dusk the wallabies and possums made their way to our bungalows to have their nightly feed ( specially provided food from the bungalows ). My family loved to sit on the verandah for dinner most nights , the adults with a nice glass of South Australian red in their hands , watching these beautiful creatures of nature feeing on our front garden . The possums were a bit more adventurous and actually made their way up to the verandah to grab a few pieces of apple left by our children on the decking.
It was great to see how much my family enjoyed themselves on Kangaroo Island and all the other places we took them to in South Australia and I am sure they will be back soon.
