A self contained 2 double bedroom weather board character cottage originally built in the 1860’s as a possible drovers over nighter or early farmhand’s residence.

It is located at 93 Sturt Street, 1.5km from town centre and 2km from the wonderful Blue Lake.

The Eastern side of Mount Gambier, close to the showgrounds and walking distance from the South Eastern or Federal Hotels and Woolworths.

The Property has been sympathetically restored in 2014 and oozes so much charm.

One of the first owners, being the Mayor T H Williams, owned & operated several oat mills in the Mount Gambier area back in the late 1800s.

The house is supplied with rainwater and serviced with instantaneous gas hot water heating

All set on a large private 1000 Sq. Metre block of land with plenty of parking.

A short walk of approximately 1 Km to Umpherston sinkhole, a Sunken Garden where possums feed at night.

Suitably priced at $150 per night for one bedroom, $280 for the two bedrooms. A weekly rate or longer stays are negotiable

The Cottage is cosy and private. It is built on a 1000 metre Square block so plenty of off road parking and garden.
