Description

The Mudshak is just a hop skip and a jump from the HIstoric Overland Corner Hotel and 300m from the River Murray and easy access to the boat ramp and parking bay.

Only a 2.5 hour drive from Adelaide, a short 1.5 hour drive from Mildura and just 21kms from Barmera and the beautiful Lake Bonney.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine coffee pods included, gas cook top, oven and dishwasher, bathroom with shower, toilet and bath, large open lounge with smart TV, laundry and 2nd toilet, fully fenced rear yard and secure carport with remote controlled door.

Enjoy the morning light with a freshly brewed coffee in the dining room overlooking the rustic garden or dine outside under the pergola using the bbq facilities and let the kids burn off some energy exploring the mallee bushland

Evapourative cooling throughout the house, wood heater, ceiling fans and split systems will keep you comfortable anytime of the year plus the outdoor fire bit perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst enjoying a glass of wine

All linen including towels are supplied so that's one less hassle you don't need to worry about, but please bring your own beach towels if you plan on spending the day down the river.

The Riverland is host to some amazing and award winning attractions such as Caudo Vineyards, Woolshed Brewery, Riverland Food and Wine Festival, Rustons Rose Centre and Flavours of the Riverland they serve great coffee and if the ladies are looking to do some sneaky shopping there's Jodi Lee Flowers & Pepperz in Berri, Henri & Coopers & Lucca Boutique in Renmark, Frankie & Dandelion, Dear Lyla, Evolve plus many more in Loxton

We are also home to two sleepy lizards Lisa and Louie who love strawberries chips and a little drink of water. Make sure your doors are closed so they dont pop in for a visit

If you run out of time visiting all our amazing attractions, you'll just have to come back again and stay a little longer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family accomodation Our booking was over the Australia Day long weekend 2018 with temperatures over 40 degrees the airconditioning left on for us for a cool arrival was most welcome. Information on local events and area was helpful, beds were generous and clean linen provided. Communication was fantastic and owners Andrew and Heather were very friendly. Thank you for making our stay in Barmera a great one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet place to stay We loved our stay at the mud shack. With 4 kids in tow, it was very family friendly, and we loved the enclosed backyard. Spacious rooms, generous size beds, great how linen was supplied. Lounge/kitchen/dining space was awesome, and the airconditioning very effective as we stayed when it was very hot; we stayed Jan 2018. Great communication from the owner. We will be back.
