LOCATION: Yondah Beach House is privately located on the wild southern coast of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. An easy 3 hour drive 320km from Adelaide, it is only 26km from the popular seaside town of Marion Bay and one of South Australia's tourism jewels, Innes National Park.
PETS: Yondah Beach House is genuinely pet-friendly so beloved K9s are allowed inside. With over 300 acres and 2km of coastline to explore, Yondah really is a dogs’ paradise
OUR 'LOW SEASON' OPTION: We try to keep Yondah affordable, so we offer a special rate for couples and small groups during low season - that's any time that's not school holidays or a long weekend in SA. At these times, you will only pay for the number of bedrooms/bathrooms you’ve booked. You'll still have exclusive use of the whole 300 acre property and full access throughout the house - we don’t like locked doors either - but this means that if you’re a couple, you'll simply choose the 1 Bedroom Option. If you want to invite another couple to join you, choose the 2 Bedroom Option. Too easy
THINGS TO DO: Spend blissful afternoons basking on a beautiful sandy beach of your own. Visit Yondah's resident family of fur seals and watch them play and fish. Explore pristine mallee scrub filled with spring flowers, birds and kangaroos. Swim with curious baby fish in one of the nursery rock pools. Hunt for rare orchids – there are more than 30 species at Yondah. Stroll along the clifftops in winter looking for humpback and southern right whales. Breathe deeply and just soak in the peace and the salty sea air. Give your camera a serious workout. Explore spectacular Innes National Park only 26km away. Check out Yorke Peninsula's stunning lighthouses and coastal scenery. Savour the region's food and wine including superb handmade chocolates. Relax, glass in hand at Yondah and enjoy a spot of birdwatching by the pond. See kangaroos feeding at dusk. Enjoy a truly spectacular light show at sunset. Experience starlight so bright you'll cast a shadow. Snuggle up in front of a roaring open fire as ocean storms lash the landscape. Fall asleep gently, lulled by the sounds of surf and calling seabirds.
