Description

A contemporary take on the "Beach House" with 4 bedrooms x2 QBs, x1 DB, x4 singles in bunks designed to accommodate 10 people with all the mod-cons and added luxuries expected in a modern beach property.

Stainless steel appliances, including a water and ice dispensing fridge, 900mm gas cooktop with electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine coffee beans not supplied housed in a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans you will ever need to cook up a storm.

You will find two indoor living areas, both with large plasma TVs with split system air conditioning. Upstairs in the main living room you will also find a Blu-ray and CD players connected to a full home theatre system. Downstairs we have kids' games, another blu-ray HT system and a Playstation2 is provided.

The master bedroom upstairs has an en-suite with a walk-in robe.

You have the option of two covered outdoor entertaining areas so you can choose to either sit out on the large hardwood verandah with a 4 burner BBQ overlooking beautiful Cape Elizabeth or you can enjoy the privacy of the fully enclosed garden to the rear of the house.

Locality

Port Hughes is a popular tourist destination, with attractions including a Greg Norman designed links style golf course 9 holes presently, 18 holes post 2013, the beautiful beach of Cape Elizabeth approx 2.5 miles long stretch of beautiful soft sand, the ever popular jetty, boat ramp, tavern and general store.

The beach is regarded as safe for swimming as it's protected by Cape Elizabeth with no sudden drop offs. This together with the beautiful scenery and local attractions draws many families on vacation from Adelaide and surrounding areas, generally no more than 2 hours drive.

Fishing is a very popular pastime in the area with the choice of many "hot spots" in and around Port Hughes and Moonta Bay, whether off the beach or jetty for whiting, flathead, squid or tommies or further out to sea for huge snapper. If you don't have your own boat, there are plenty of local charters available for hire.

The Port Hughes general store offers a bit of everything. Less than five minutes away, this is a great place to go for basic provisions, fishing supplies as well as a servo. The cafe in the General Store is also excellent for a quick lunch or takeaway.

The local tavern offers counter meals, a dining room and bottle shop. Port Hughes also now has a very popular bistro "The Deck" within The Dunes complex, overlooking stunning Cape Elizabeth and the Greg Norman designed golf course.

The house is only 5 minutes away from Moonta which has a larger supermarket, banking, newsagents, several pubs and local shops, including some excellent antiques shops.

Kadina, a large bustling town, is the the principal township of the "Copper Coast" area and is only 20 minutes drive away.

Port Hughes is well placed on the Yorke Peninsula for visiting its many attractions including stunning Marion Bay and Innes National Park.

Property

The property is spread over two levels with two outside entertaining areas.

Downstairs has one queen bedroom, a double bedroom and a bunk room with x2 bunks x4 singles in total. A cot and high chair are available on request.

Downstairs also has a second living area air conditioned with board games for the kids and adults, playstation2, a blu-ray system and plasma TV. The ground floor also has the family bathroom with both bath and shower plus a separate laundry with a washing machine, dryer, iron etc.. are located.

Upstairs consists of a large open plan air conditioned kitchen, dining and living area with access to a hardwood verandah spanning the width of the property. With the 4 burner BBQ, you can dine alfresco whilst enjoying the beautiful sunsets over Cape Elizabeth. The kitchen will supply you with all the mod cons, pots, pans and utensils you will ever need whilst on holiday.

You will also find the master bedroom upstairs, complete with a queen sized bed, en-suite, walk in robe, split system air conditioner and LCD TV. There is also a second separate toilet upstairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh & Clean We enjoyed out stay. Was Warm (considering the cold weather), clean, tidy and fresh. No mention of the Garage not being available for access. This was only an inconvenience trying to find access on arrival in the dark with extreme Windy Wet Weather. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.
