If fishing isn’t your thing, the beach is home to numerous species of birds, some of whom nest just above the high tide mark.
Of course, Waves is only a short drive to the world renowned Freycinet National Park as well as numerous beaches, jetties, shops, cafes, and the nearby Freycinet Gold Club.
