Located on Nine Mile Beach, Swansea, Tasmania and only 1 1/2 hours from either Hobart or Launceston airports.

Fabulous large, two level beach house in a lovely private bush setting and on absolute beach frontage, accommodating up to five people. Only a 52 second walk to the beach

Situated on 1.5 hectares of bush with gorgeous gums, prolific native wildlife and birdlife.

Stunning sea views of Great Oyster Bay, the Hazards mountain range, Freycinet Peninsula,Schouten Island and Swansea township.

Light filled rooms,open plan living with dining room and fully equipped kitchen. All of which can be enjoyed with the luxurious heat of the wood heater on winter nights or with the sun bursting through during the days. Living area opens out onto delightful balcony with outdoor dining setting.

The below ground, solar heated swimming pool only available for use from November to April, inclusive surrounded by a large deck, gas Weber Q barbecue and outdoor dining table, are perfect for alfresco dining.

Long beach walks and a few swims will be enough to generate an appetite to enjoy some famous Tasmanian fish and produce.

Huge master bedroom with Queen bed and stunning sea views opening out to private balcony. Ensuite bathroom and walk in robe. Beautiful bush views from side windows.

Second Bedroom with Queen bed and access to second bathroom. Gorgeous bush view from this bedroom. Comfortable single trundle also available on application.

Open plan kitchen with quality kitchenware and appliances, dishwasher and microwave.

Comfortable living area with leather couches, wood heater, television and DVD player and large dining table.

Ceiling fans in main living area and master bedroom.

Laundry with washing machine and trough, external clothes line.

Carport space for one car.

Bushwalking at Freycinet National Park, including fabulous walks to Wineglass Bay and Cape Tourville. Have lunch at Freycinet Lodge or the local Coles Bay bakery. Walk and swim at Friendly Beaches. Discover Honeymoon Bay, great well protected spot for swimming and snorkelling.

Take a quad bike tour of Freycinet National Park with all4adventure.

Drive to the lovely seaside town of Bicheno and buy some fresh seafood at Tasmanian Coastal Seafoods to cook at home. Go to Redbill Beach and walk across to Diamond Island, tide permitting.

Drive further north to Douglas Apsley National Park and swim in the huge waterhole or go for a walk in the bush.

Drive to the lovely town of Lake Leake and have lunch in the pub or drive to Oatlands an historic town full of Georgian buildings and visit Callington Mill, a working Georgian flour mill.

Visit one of the many local wineries. Milton vineyard, Gala Estate, Spring Vale and Devils Corner Vineyards and many more. Milton has fabulous tapas available, Springvale also has food available during summer months. Devils Corner serves food all year round.

Closer to home visit Melshell, a local oyster farm and buy shucked or unshucked oysters direct from the grower, eat in or take away. If you plan to eat in you are able to bring your own beer and wine to enjoy as you sit on the picturesque banks of the Swan River.

Visit PIermont Resort for coffee or stay for lunch or dinner. Gorgeous old homestead with stunning sea views.

Food is fabulous. 5 minutes drive south of Swansea.

Short drive into Swansea, and visit the Heritage Museum and Visitor Centre. Take the walk around Waterloo Point, visit Kate's Berry Farm and Spikey Bridge. Other beaches in the area include Cressy, Kelvedon and Spikey beaches, all a short drive from Swansea.

Visit the Swansea Bark Mill and Museum, then have lunch in the bakery.Good coffee at Artefakt in the main street.
