'The Views' Cottage is a little quirky and a little unique. Recently renovated It boasts beautiful views of Bass Strait and the city lights from most rooms and both balcony's. It has been decorated stylishly with modern and old furniture with the added touch of obscure antiques. The comfy couch has to be one of the highlights after a day of trekking up Cradle Mountain or travelling the local food trails. Cottage gardens and outdoor furniture lend many a place to sit and relax with a book and a coffee or a wine and friends during your stay. There are seasonal strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and veggie's in the garden and if you can beat the bird's to them they are yours to eat. BBQ Facilities are included, also there are books and DVD's available.
Guests will have access to the cottage as a whole so you can spread out and make yourselves at home. There is off street parking which fits 2 cars comfortably and 3 with some creative driving. There is full kitchen facilities available and basic breakfast foods provided. Washing machine and clothes hanger with iron and ironing board. Built in Wardrobes in the main bedrooms are also available. There are books to read as well if you really feel ready to unwind with DVD's and BBQ facilities also available.
Guests will have complete privacy in the home. We will reply to guests generally within an hour or so and will be in easy reach by mobile phone or email at all times for information on the area or cottage.
Our Cottage is very short walking distance to the city of Burnie. Burnie is connected to other major centres by Redline Bus services which has online booking services. Burnie is 40min drive from the Spirit of Tasmania and 90min drive from Launceston Airport and 15min from the Burnie Wynyard Airport. Tasmania being very remote and not known for its public transport its advised to hire a car to get around reliably all the sites you want to see.
