This self contained cottage is part of a 5 acre property with a homestead built in 1887. If you prefer a quiet spot 20 minutes south of Devonport, 10 minutes south of Latrobe, 15 minutes from Port Sorell and an hour drive north of Launceston then this is for you.
The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed, a lounge area with a sofa double bed, a small kitchen with dining area, bathroom with shower and bath tub and toilet. There is a small fridge and one element hot plate and electric frying pan for those who like to prepare small meals. A small continental breakfast is provided. There is free parking area next to the cottage. Ideally this cottage is for maximum 2 people although the sofa bed opens into a double bed.
The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from Devonport and quite handy for those who fly to Devonport Airport or catch the Spirit of Tasmania to Devonport. It is only an hour drive north of Launceston for those who fly to Launceston Airport. The cottage is close enough to few towns and different attractions to make it as a base to explore parts of our beautiful Tasmania.
Anvers Chocolate Factory, Ashgrove Cheese Factory are two of the attractions close by. Town of Latrobe which is 10 minutes drive from Valleyfield Cottage has got its own attractions ie Axeman's Hall of Fame, sightings of platypus, as well a Tourist Information Centre where you can obtain information on place of interests, walks, etc.
