The pretty little town of Wynyard on the Inglis River is only 20 minutes away. There is a lovely scenic drive around Table Cape and to the historic lighthouse as well as a look-out where there is a wonderful view looking east along the coast. Exploring the small city of Burnie (45 minutes away), the Guide Falls, Rhododendron Gardens, the Cheese Factory offers another day of sight-seeing while staying in Acacia Cottage.
