Two minutes drive from the Burnie/Wynyard Airport with direct flights to and from Melbourne and car hire available, it is about 45 minutes drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry Terminal in Devonport.

Shopping bags for use required at supermarket are provided for your convenience to use, shopping trolley if you wish a stroll to the shops.
The laundry has a second toilet, washtub, washing machine, clothes dryer, ironing facilities, & clothes airer and washing basket with pegs for using the clothes line outside in the verandah.

The Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition Centre/Visitor Information Centre is a good place to begin, which includes the Ransley Veteran Car Collection and Art Gallery.
The views on the Table Cape Scenic Drive are spectacular and while at the Cape a tour of the historic 1888 lighthouse is worth doing.
In tulip season October/ November walk among the tulips at Van Diemen Bulb Farm. The Tulip Festival is held annually in October.
At low tide, a stroll around Fossil Bluff will excite the geologist in you.
For those who enjoy walking, there are several walks of various durations along the banks of the Inglis River & seafront, or why not take in the pleasant vista of the parkland and estuary at Gutteridge Gardens.
See the largest crustaceans in the world growing up to 5kg and 80cm in length at the Flowerdale Lobster Haven, these endangered creatures are unique to the northern streams of Tasmania located about 10 minutes drive out of town.
There are two golf courses in Wynyard a yacht club and and 2 boat ramps for the fishermen.
Go swimming at the beach or kayaking on the river.
The township of Wynyard is flat making it ideal for walking & cycling.
Public transport operates connecting with most Tasmanian towns.
The Visitor Information Centre, within walking distance from home, has extensive knowledge and information available of day trips to do from Wynyard.
eg: Cradle Mountain, The Nut at Stanley, the Tarkine Rainforest Drive, Makers workshop in Burnie and many other Tasmanian tourist attractions are all possible day trip destinations.
